Delicious!
I have attempted to locate a chili pepper paste at all of our local grocery stores and could not find one. Knowing the Amore brand from their tomato paste, I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. It is spicy, but the spice doesn’t have a lasting burn. The flavor is robust and tastes like it is of high-quality (not surprising). You only need a small amount to bring a large flavor to your dishes!

This was a great find. Excellent product. I use it in all kinds of recipes. So hot, though. Be forewarned!

Product tasted fine, but seemed more like red pepper paste or even just tomato (?!). Very little heat contributed. Update Nov 2019: I don't know if the product matured while I've had it or if I had a cold when I tasted it, but it's certainly hot now!

Flavorful and spicy
This is a really good edition to an Asian dish I made. I will warn you however, it’s spicy. I like spice so when the recipe said optional add 1 tablespoon, I added 2. My mouth is on fire. Flavorful but proceed with caution!

Variety is the spice of life, yada yada ....
The flavor & bite is great. I prefer to have multiple choices of texture, consistency & heat when it comes to the hot stuff I cook with or add to finished dishes, so this small tube that packs a punch was a good choice because it takes up so little room (packs great re: camp-outs) & can easily be used up before getting stale. I've mixed it w/ avocado oil to coat cooked chickpeas prior to dry-roasting for a crunchy snack; I've added it to individual servings of sausage chicken posole that was tempered down spice-wise for the wimps; I've scrambled it w/ raw eggs prior to cooking; I've tossed it w/ cold, leftover steak slices in a cold Thai salad ~ so far, so good, & I highly recommend giving it a try if you're needing to pack some heat from time-to-time.
