A great device if you know how to use it
This is a great tractioning device, but only if you use it the right way. The way it's marketed, lying on your back, doesn't work very well for the design. Everything hinges on your feet being locked into place, which is easy, but then your arms need to be locked into place with your arm posts. Not such a big deal but your elbows will tend to flare forward and up (the opposite direction from where the control wheel is) as the traction increases so you've got to activate your lats to keep the elbows down to maintain the traction. This process is a little odd, especially as your lats start to tire out and you start releasing that opposing tension. On top of it you're supposed to be reaching down and behind yourself to turn that wheel to create the traction in the first place. Well as the traction increases your arm has more and more trouble going down that far. The location of that control wheel should be closer to your chest if you're going to lie on your back. But what I've discovered is all of these problems go away if you lie on your stomach. Now the control wheel is at least in front of you versus behind you. Easier to reach. On top of that by keeping my hands on the floor or my arms wrapped around the bench gives my arms the leverage to keep my elbows down without using my own lats as much so I can essentially maintain the traction for a lot longer. And as far as the construction goes, it's pretty decent. Right on the edge concerning the price, this is essentially the same material that the upside down traction devices are and those are $100 less so I suspect the cost will come down a little.

Arrived Broken, Unusable, and Potentially Dangerous
I am deeply disappointed with the condition of this Sunny Health & Fitness product upon arrival. I purchased this decompression bench a while ago but was traveling and only just opened the box to assemble it. My disappointment was immediate. The product was clearly damaged before it ever got to me. One of the armrests has a significant crack in it, and the sealed hardware package was missing several essential screws needed for assembly. Because of the missing parts, putting it together was impossible. But more importantly, even if I could assemble it, the cracked armrest makes the entire machine a serious safety hazard. There is no way I would trust this bench to support my body weight during stretching or decompression exercises. This isn't a case of minor shipping scuffs; this is a complete failure of quality control. I've been left with a large, heavy, and completely useless piece of equipment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product. You are taking a serious gamble on receiving a safe, functional item.

Lower back stretching finally.
Was skeptical but it actually works pretty well. Itโs easy to assemble and it worked face down a bit better but my lower back popped in the first 30 seconds. That is the first pop in 10 years probably so itโs a great start. Built pretty well and light enough to pick up and put away. Iโm happy with it.

Great for spinal decompression pain, easy to use, sturdily constructed and compact for space saving.
I just received this. Construction is of solid quality. Time will reveal overall effectiveness, but I can say after only the first use, I woke the next morning with no back pain for the first time in quite a while. My back also seemed to hold better throughout the day. This unit is easy to assemble, easy to use, and seems to work well. The main portion slides easily under a bed for space saving, though you will need to remove the arm and leg attachments to stow. Leg attachment requires removal of two small bolts. I'd prefer a quick disconnect pin here, but it is only a small inconvenience and takes roughly one minute to remove or reattach the arm and leg components. Other than that, I find it to be absolutely perfect and effective. I am very happy with the purchase.

Seems good except for broken armrest cap which hurts arm
Overall, it seems pretty okay, but the top of one arm rest is broken which makes it uncomfortable to use. We just received this two hours ago and this is how it arrived. Very disappointing.

Sturdy and worth it!
Its definitely built to last. Instructions for assembly were clear. I do wish they had info on how to use this item and for how long, etc. to achieve the most out of the equipment. Overall, it works! I used YouTube on how to use. I've been suffering with compressed discs in my lower back for years, and this helps alleviate my spine. Glad I chose the model that is high up off the ground as well, as its easier to get off of๐

It worked for me
I like this stretch machine. It was easy to assemble and it is easy to operate. It would be perfect if the legs were adjustable but they are not. To make more of an inversion table, I placed a piece of 2x4 wood under the front legs. If you want more of an inversion, place more wood under the front legs.

Quality Issues
Product was missing a part, also one of the arm bars moved very very freely, front to back and up and down (should not go up and down) and could not be tightened further and the other required force to move. I initially emailed customer support about the screw but upon discovering the issues with the armpit bar I decided to return it.
