For sizing purposes, the fabric portion of the wristlet was 4.5" long x 1.25" wide. It opens up to around a +/-3 inch diameter. I can't quite tell what type of fabric is used for this, but the material is very thick (when laid flat its about a 0.25" thick total). The clamp used to hold on to the fabric looks pretty secure, we'll see how it holds up.I give this item 4 stars for the overall look and construction, 3 stars for the bulky material.3/7/15 UPDATE: I've gotten used to the material and have been enjoying its durability; however, one side of it has been slowly coming out of the clamp enough that when I tugged on it with enough force, it came out of the clamp. Apparently, the little tacks that hold it in are not long enough to adequately go through both pieces of material since it is so thick. I was able to slide the material back into the clamp, but now I wall likely go the route of a previous reviewer and use fabric glue to keep it together. I still like the wristlet, but the durability of the piece as a whole drops my rating down... 3.5 stars for overall, 2.5 stars for construction.

This is a very cute wristlet. My only concern was the clamp onto the fabric seemed like it was going to come apart (not break, just not hold tightly clamped to the fabric). I solved this by adding a few squirts of super adhesive fabric glue in the small space where the top of the fabric meets the clamp. I let it dry overnight and it's been great! I swing my keys around a lot and have had no problem. Because of the lighter color, dirt is more visible, but spot cleaning works fine.
