It seems to be calming my flock. My young rooster is determined to mate with my older hens who are not interested so he’s been chasing them around and seems to be picking on the more dominant hens. About 2 days after starting Recover 911 everyone seems calmer. I’m 5 days in now and things are still calm. With only 9 chickens I’ve made smaller batches than the gallon, just reduced the Recover 911 accordingly as they recommended to discard the mixture after 24 hrs. I recommended putting the Recover 911 in your container first then add the water as if you do it the other way, it seems to clump up and doesn’t mix well in cold water.

Wish I could give this more than 5 stars! I love the daily flock leader Thrive supplement so much that I purchased the recover 911 to have on hand for emergencies. I’m glad I did because I have a 8 year old hen that was having a really hard time getting through a tough molt. I ended up bringing her inside and using the recover 911 for 7 days like it suggests. Each day she got stronger and stronger, her feathers came back quickly and now she’s back to herself and looking beautiful! I’m now using it for the whole flock while introducing new flock members, it seems to be helping a lot with stress! It can be difficult to dissolve, so I dissolve it in a little bit of warm water before adding my cold water, works out perfectly.

This medicine Flock Leader Recover 911 saved my 5 wk old chicks life. My chick was literally half dying . I had to isolate her, she was lethargic, would put her head in her feathers at all times. Then I rush ordered this medicine and gave to her and the next day she is walking around, drinking , and eating . She is now re-united with the flock and she seems happy & healthy . It’s literally a miracle! I will now keep this on hand . I’m going to finish the recommended 7 days of giving this to my chick .

NC winters are generally mild, except for this past one. We had steady colder than average temps and lots more snow than we’re used to. My birds were struggling.
