Great size and great price
This pot heats evenly and does a great job with soups, stews, and sourdough bread. It feels sturdy without being overly heavy, and the lid fits well to retain moisture. It’s a nice size, not massive but big enough for cooking most meals feeding 3-4. Easy to clean, great value, and very versatile—great addition to my kitchen.

cute and well made
I love cast iron and this Dutch oven is absolutely perfect for my needs. The fact that cast iron will literally last forever if taken care of means it's always worth the investment, but this particular pot is just adorable. I got the 3.5qt size-- it's decent for feeding 2-3 people. If you have a bigger family definitely go for more quart-age, that's probably the only regret I have is I wish I went a bit bigger but that's my problem lol the Dutch oven does it's job perfectly

Bread-baker's Dream
I love this Dutch oven for baking bread! It comes out perfectly every time. It is light and easy to use. I tried using my old enameled Dutch oven but the enamel smelled like it was melting with the high baking temperature. This is such a great improvement.

Lid handle broke during first use. Rusted lid after 2nd use!
I am thoroughly frustrated with this product! In addition to the lid handle breaking during first use, while baking bread, now after only using twice, the inside of the lid is covered in rust. And, No, I did not leave it in water. I tried baking soda, vinegar to clean it but it needs major scrubbing. Because The entire surface of the dutch oven is extremely rough, it very difficult to clean; it basically demolished the rough side of the sponge I was using. I reached out to manufacture and got no response! I don’t have a picture because honestly I just can’t spend more time on product !

Great little workhorse for microbakery!
I bought one of these 3.4 quart Dutch ovens early in my sourdough bread baking process. This summer, I started growing my baking into a business and ordered a second one so that my loaves would bake the same (previously had one oval ceramic cast iron I would use for one loaf). When I needed to bake four loaves at the same time, I ordered two more! They are just the right size and weight (not too heavy) and easy to wrangle in and out of the oven. I can place all four on one rack in my regular electric range oven. Good quality. The one thing I would change is the handle on top. A welded cast iron handle or knob would be nice. The heating loosens the screw all the time. One of these days, I will probably drop one due to the handle unscrewing itself.

Great size for sourdough bread.
I think this size is perfect for making sourdough bread. I have other really nice dutch ovens that are wider and enameled, but I don't want to ruin them. I decided to use cast iron (along with parchment paper) from now on. I like how the narrow width gives support so the loaves end up higher.

I bought an expensive enamelled dutch oven for my sour dough loaves but after every bake it would get dark spots all over the outside of it, even though I would scrub it immaculately before putting it in the oven. Then I saw someone suggest to use non enamelled cast iron pot and this price was so excellent that I thought I would give it a try. Very happy with my bread results. Great size for a loaf and well made. Someone mentioned that the knob was plastic but mine is not, it is cast iron and held up well in a 450 degree oven. It did have a smell when heating it in the oven at first. I would recommend for first use to heat and cool it maybe once before actually using.

Rusty after 3 uses

I gave the review 4 stars as the handle warped first time I used it. I use it for baking sourdough bread at 450F. I did not want to return it because I really like the size of the pot. I have a smaller 2 quarts but the bread was really tight in the pot so I was looking for a little bit bigger. All other pots were too big 4,5 or 7 quarts. I rub olive oil after every use and then before I bake the bread I preheat the pot for 20 mins so that way I season it everytime.

For its price, ideal size dimensions and my own personal unorthodox use case, I highly recommend. My specific use case was using its lid at the bottom of my Weber Smokey Mountain 14-inch cooker and the pot itself as a replacement for the smoker's drip catcher. By using this cast iron setup, it allows for better heat retention and temperature consistency for a more predictable cooking session.
