Good Kit, but can be better
First impressions (and updated after a good workout) Set-up: - I was very impressed with the feel of the snare, kick and tom's during set-up. These drums are solid, somewhat beefy which is good for the action they'll get. The mesh head response is great out of the box and can be tweaked. - The mounting frame is solid, but maybe undersized for expansion with another cymbal and/or tom - real estate may lack and warrant and-on hardware to support or balance. The Kit is scalable with connections for to additional Tom or Cymbal. This is a good feather to allow configuration based on playing style. I personally like the freedom to tweak the configuration. I prefer an additional cymbal and tom for my playing style and will make it work. - The cymbal hardware on the rack is adequate. A future upgrade could include adding telescoping/swivel arm for better cymbal positioning on the kit. - The Hi-Hat stand is okay for beginners, but a seasoned drummer will want a stable stand with fluid operation. (It's actually very responsive and provides realistic pedal action). - The Controller could be a little more high-tech. A larger screen would allow for easier navigation and improved tuning articulation and precision. - Bluetooth connectivity to an external music source is great! (I was able to quickly connect to my IPHONE for background tracks. - The included headset is a nice addition, however using a good studio headset changes everything. (The sound is output is awesome) - The included throne is flimsy. (Based on individual experience) Overall conclusion - I (really) like the feel of this kit. The sounds (VOICES) are promising (much better with good headphones) but takes a little time and patience to achieve. Great investment.

Looks great, sounds great, plays great, and has fantastic support.
Best kit for the money! Support was wondeful and setup was super easy. Works great as a stand alone kit with the drum brain and works great hooked up to my computer to run my own samples. Couldn't be happier! Its super quiet with the mesh heads. Definitely would recommend to someone looking for a real feeling kit but needing to stay quiet. Headphone out and usb to computer makes it exceptionally versatile and perfect for practice.

My honest review
Not sponsored by aklot!! I paid my own money to buy this cause i actually needed one. This is an honest opinion. Okay so after installing and hooking up everything and playing it, ill give this drum set 9/10. Alesis strike pro se was 9.5/10 for me. This drum set came with snare stand, high-hat stand, chair and kick pedal and every thing eles for $900 i mean ill give some points to aklot for that. Where alesis strike pro se doesnt come with snare stand, high-hat stand, kick pedal, and chair and it cost me $2500..... This drum set is definitely smaller than strike pro se but this is perfect if you have space problem. Straight out the box the module sound not that bad some sounds little funny but strike pro se was the same, some kit sounded good and some bad. I use midi so it really doesn't matter if some kit sounded little off. The trigger on this kit is 9/10 where strike pro se was 7/10. On this kit only thing i had to touch up was kick sensitive. Where strike pro se i had ride, snare, and crash trigger problem. I had to mess with settings for 2hrs just to make it sound and play right on strike pro se. One thing i do appreciate from strike pro se was taller and longer frame. I dont have a problem using it but I am 5'11 and this kit height was little short. If they can upgrade the frame it would be perfect! Also they do give you a chair but it really feels uncomfortable and wobbly. Might want to get a separate chair. You can also add another tom and crash later if you need them. The mesh feels and plays awesome just like strike pro se. The kick is alot smaller than strike pro se set but i can still use double kick with no problem. The crash is dual zone with choke. The choke worked everytime. The ride is tripple zone with choke and also worked flawlessly. Mind you this kind of quality and build similar to this will run you at least $2500~5000. I mean yea nobody heard of company called aklot unlike big brand compay like alesis, roland, pearl, etc but one thing for sure they can make similar set for less price. And im not 100% sure but all of them are probably made in china๐ Ill have to play more on it to see how durable it is but on alesis strike pro se after using it for about 2 1/2 years the strike pro se started to have trigger issues on crash and ride and one of the toms. Let see how long this will last me! Overall experience of 4hrs into this drum set ill give 9/10! Will i recommend this to people? For sure! Will i buy it again? Yes! If they upgrade the chair and the frame lol๐ This concludes my review! Thanks for reading!

Great kit, module is lacking....
It is a great kit and the customer support is top notch. My only criticism is the module. You can't import sounds to the module, . You are pretty stuck with what comes in the module sound wise. The sounds aren't awful. They compare to the lower end alesis kits in the sound department. Now where this kit really shines is the pads. Very responsive and similar to acoustic drums. The stand is sturdy and built to last. Easy assembly 15-25min. Perfect for a beginner, or as i use them, A great alternative to the Roland TD series. You can find a TD17 module for under 600$ and all in still be half the price of Roland. Hate to criticize because they were so helpful when i had questions, hopefully the modules will improve in the future. 8/10 would recommend.

A GREAT investment
This drum set is definitely worth the cost and then some! I upgraded from a DTX3 so this is like a whole different world, as it mimics an acoustic set. I have 2 amps hooked up so it's loud and sounds great at high volumes. Sometimes I just play the dead set with no sound. The mesh heads give it a much more realistic feeling so it's like I'm playing a real set but my ears and my wife are much happier. I do wish it had more sound options for the different drums and cymbals but you can adjust the tone up or down to get you where you want to be. Works great with a double bass pedal as well.

Leaves a little to be desired
This kit arrived incredibly fast! All in all, this kit sounds very much like an acoustic kit, with the exception of the hi-hat, and is (or can be) very loud through the head phones. The hi-hat lacks volume and is very hard to hear over the rest of the kit. It functions like a real hi-hat but doesn't have the same sound. I have messed with the settings until I am blue with no change in sound. The only other thing is the ride cymbal bell. It has a mind of its own! For the most part, when the bell is struck no bell sound comes out. Only once in awhile the bell will sound and usually when you don't want it! The hi-hat and bell issues are why I went with a 3 star rating. Otherwise it sounds pretty darn good. I have yet to try running it through an electronic drum amplifier, but I imagine the sound quality would be just as good, except with an amplifier you can drive the neighbors nuts!! UPDATE: Aklot customer service reached out to me with an offer to help with the problems I mentioned in my original review. I can't say enough about their customer service! Kin was extremely helpful. I managed to resolve the hi-hat issue myself, but after reviewing a video of the ride cymbal bell being played and showing the settings on the module, the techs determined that the ride cymbal was defective and they immediately ordered up a new one to be sent. Based on my interaction with customer service, I have upgraded my rating to 5 stars.

Best cheapest complete drum set you can get
This is by far the cheapest and most durable complete drum set I have owned. I've been looking for an electronic set with an independent snare AND hi-hat, and those drum sets were either crazy expensive (think of Alesis, Roland, Yamaha, etc.) or they just didn't exist, meaning the snare or hi-hat (or both) weren't independent. AKLOT was the first one I came across that was affordable and resembled an acoustic set. There's a Bluetooth connection you can use to play songs directly from your phone, and a MIDI connection helps connect the module to your computer for recording. It has a decent size that would fit in an average room. The rack is quite stable and feels like playing on an acoustic set. Like other electronic sets, it does make some noise, but it's definitely not bothering others if you have roommates. The other thing I liked a lot was the customer service; I ran into an issue with one of the crash cymbals. I reached out to the customer service and sent them a quick video of the issue, and a week later, I got a new crash! Absolutely recommend it if you are a beginner and/or don't want to spend thousands on an electronic kit.

Nice set.
My previous set was over 5 years old. The technology is getting very close to perfect. This set is fantastic and the positive reviews about their customer service are true. They promptly address an issue, kept me informed and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. They are definitely eager to put out the best possible product. I'm impressed. The drums themselves feel acoustic and have great response. Whether through headphones or the monitor, there is no lag when playing along with the Bluetooth input. The module is easy to navigate and adjust. The levels are set pretty much right out of the box. They have a great product at a fair price. I'm a happy customer.

B-CORE543...an actual customer review (not eh eye)
I purchased the B-CORE543 in May 2026 and so far I'm quite happy with my purchase. The drum itself it a great looking kit. It has an actual kick drum (pedal included which you could swap out for your own but this one is perfectly adequate), and high hats (stand included which was a pleasant surprise). I'm still learning to use the module so I can't give feed back on that. All pads are mesh including the kick drum. The feel and sound of the mesh head is good. My only concern so far is the floor tom mount is a bit high on the rack but I'll play around with it. I've owned a few e-drums over the years and so far this is the best. Set up is fairly simple. There is a video on youtube which is helpful with setup for the most part. The video does not show you the second hit hat cable plug in. The first HH cable is easy to find, it plugs into the HH stand. The second HH cable feeds through the holes in the bottom HH and plugs into the bottom portion of the upper HH. The best part was the customer service. I had an issue with a pad upon delivery and emailed customer service. Ethan and his service team got back to me immediately. The problem was resolved with zero hassle and I had a replacement pad within days no cost to me. Great drums, great service and I would recommend getting this kit.

Customer service surprised me
An Aklot customer service representative contacted me and was very helpful in fitting the drum kit to fit my needs with my feedback. I never contacted them; I was surprised they contacted me and were willing to help me. I am giving them a 5-star rating because of their customer service. I have been on Amazon for 25-plus years, and this is the first time a seller contacted me and was willing to help. 1-This drum kit has a pro look and feel and can be upgraded to fit anyone's needs like a Pro. This is a great set for a child, party band, dinner or church band, or rock band, or for someone who is just starting out and building on it to fit their needs. Kit does look nice. I will be enhancing the kit in about a month. with another tom and another hi-hat, making 2 hi-hats. Love the 3-zone ride found on pro drum kits. 2- As shown in the photo, the drum throne is basic; most people may choose different, more expensive thrones to meet their comforts. 2- To meet my needs I had to modify the hi-hat stand to accommodate the double kick pedal side by side by bending the legs on the hi-hat stand. as shown in photos 3- All clamps The cage is plastic; I expected that. 4- Would have preferred faders, but the price was right and there was a discount. 5- It does have cool drum sounds to meet most people's needs and is excellent for beginners or pros. 5- Photos are as advertised. 6- Description as advertised.

Review from an experienced entry level e-drum kit user.
Update July 9, 2026: Aklot customer service has reached out to me several times to make it right. In light of of their persistence to make it right even though I've moved onto a different brand, I applaud their efforts and give them 5 stars. ********************************************* I ordered the double bass pedal version of the B-CORE543. I thought of upgrading from my Alesis Nitro Max to this one coz I wanted a real hi hat and bigger, multi-zone ride cymbals which the Nitro Max didn't have. The BAD: The stool wouldn't lock in place so it kept moving/spinning. The hi hat stand is flimsy and only had 2 modes: Close and open. One of the bass pedals got loose and couldn't be tightened because it was press fit into the 8mm hex shaft with no bolts/screws to hold it in place. The bass drum didn't come with a stand so the bass pedal beaters was hitting the bass drum closer to the rim at the top instead of the center (check the product pictures to see what I mean). The toms, snare and bass drum were overly sensitive. If you tap with your finger nails or drum key on the bolts holding the rims in place, it will trigger the drum sounds. I tried phoning tech support but their number was not correct according to Whatsapp. I emailed but it took almost 2 days before I got a response and by the time I got the response, I already initiated a return to Amazon. The plastic parts of this kit feel cheap and sadly, there are lots of plastic bits including the drum module/brain. The drum sticks that came with this kit were short by about an inch compared to the standard drum sticks which I find are unusable if you're used to the standard/correct size. The sounds in the drum module were ok/meh. When my wife heard it for the first time, she told me to return the kit coz it sounded awful. To me, it sounded ok/livable. The GOOD: Size wise it is just right and feels almost like a real acoustic drum kit. The whole kit except the hi hat felt stable/solid. The chrome finish on the drums and metal tubes are impressive. That's about it. The BEST part of this experience is Amazon's return policy. I managed to return this drum kit and get a refund in about 1 week from when I bought it. It was picked up from my house when I returned it so I didn't have to carry the close to 100 lbs box. If I were Aklot, I would remove the hi hat stand, stool, bass pedals, similar to when you purchase a high end e-drum kit from Roland, Yamaha or Alesis. So they can focus on improving the sounds in the sound module, also the drum module's fit and finish of the plastic parts needs refinement, and include a stand for the drum bass so the bass pedal beaters will hit the center of the bass drum, while keeping the price down.

An absolute banger
This is my 3rd e-kit (I had an old Alesis and then a Donner model) and had been exploring new models for the past 2 years. When I started seeing the Aklot B-Core 543 series, I was interested. I ultimately decided to purchase it recently and it is leaps and bounds superior to any "entry/mid-level" kits I've ever played on. From the beautiful chrome finish, to the independant hi hat and snare, to the extra tom and cymbal, to the realistic feel, this kit has absolutely everything a home drummer could want in a e-kit. Even the module sounds are great. The module also easily connects to a PC via USB cable and can be used with a DAW or even rythym games. I could not be more thrilled with my purchase. If you are hesitating on this model or brand, I recommend you take a chance on them. Although I haven't been able to test the long term longevity of this drum yet, I've been using it for almost 2 months now and it's showing absolutely no signs of wear and tear yet. Beautiful product, very responsive customer service and just an absolute joy to play!
