Awesome adapter, had needed a few to help setup some old monitors that needed a DVI D connector which i didnt have and even better converting that signal to and HDMI port even better for visuals on my old screens i appreciate this again for the price! the gold plated helps with the signal aswell would buy again! Durable, works great, as described, nicely pacakged in a BENEFI box, good quality.

I only needed this for a few months but during that time it worked perfectly for me.

I like these connectors. No image quality issues, I can watch videos, or images at high resolution on my 15 year monitor hooked up to my latest generation laptop. The design is compact and efficient, but before deciding to get it you need to account for the length of the HDMI plug, that together with this converter might collide with the edge of the monitor. Otherwise, everything is perfect, good quality of the metal part, the grip is good, etc.

Connected new monitor to the computer without a problem.

I was putting together a replacement PC for a family member on short notice and as cheaply as possible. They only need it for email and web browsing, so I don't need any particularly fancy display tech. They are using an OLD LG monitor which does either DVI-D or VGA at 1400x900 resolution. The new computer only does HDMI or DisplayPort. I already had a small mountain of HDMI cables laying around, so I bought a set of these, and it's working perfectly. The female HDMI port on the adapter sticks out of the body which is a little weird, but you can pop in a cable no problem. This also fits on those monitors that have all of their connectors facing downward and placed along the bottom edge. The screws are easy to secure. I can't test whether or not this does the max resolution because the monitor doesn't even do 1080p, let alone anything higher, but it does work. Nice thing is I have a spare in case I come across any other old monitors

Initially i was hesitant to order this adapter but when it arrived i was pleased with my purchase. The material used to built the unit is great and it was very easy to install. The long screw inserts easily adapted the monitor casing and securely stays in its place. The picture is great and no issues even used directly or with a USB hub with HDMI connectors.

Great value for money, worked as expected.
