Comfortable, Functional, Game Changer for Travel Sleepers
I read the reviews that some said it felt like they were in a neck brace... and the truth is, you do feel that way to an extent. With that said, the Cabeau has been my absolute favorite head and neck support when traveling and I have gone through about 6 or 7 different options. My biggest complaint with other neck pillows was the thickness behind the neck. When you're on a flight, there isn't much room for a thick backing. Not only is this one thinner than others, it molds beautifully to be able to place your head on the headrest with comfort. It is soft and moldable and has completely eliminated stiffness from traveling and neck kinks and the constant adjusting of position to relieve one side or another in my back. While the sides seem rigid (and they are), they also support your head and neck completely. Even with the front closure having an inch or two spacing (I like a little air to flow to the front of my neck), my chin doesn't fall forward and my head doesn't fall to the side at all. I also use Apple AirPods when I sleep and they fit just fine, but a little too much jostling or adjusting and they sometimes fall out due to the slight pressure placed on the lower jawline, so I highly recommend just getting some cheap magnetic airpod holder/lanyard like straps that you can slide them into and put around your neck to ensure you don't have to search for them on the floor somewhere. The only negative I have is that the outside fabric will pull loose from the rigid sides a bit toward the back, but not enough that it is truly noticeable or an issue. Overall, the form, fit and function of this neck pillow is exactly what was described and does the job beautifully for any travel or situation that you need to sit up and would like to take a nap. Highly recommend for the comfort and solution for travel sleep.

A Major Upgrade Over Standard Travel Pillows with Excellent Support
Why I Purchased It Searched for alternatives to a standard travel pillow due to difficulty sleeping while sitting upright and a tendency for the head to fall forward. The goal was more structured support for long flights. Pros The built in structure is the main strength. The hard plastic oval sections on the outside help keep the neck upright and prevent the head from falling forward, a clear improvement over standard travel pillows. The neck support also works well when the head is leaned toward the sides, helping keep it stable. It is also comfortable when leaning slightly forward. The padding is memory foam, though it feels closer to regular foam with only a slight slow response. It remains comfortable, but is less plush than typical memory foam pillows. Cons That said, it is not perfect. With about 3.75 inches from my collarbone to the top of my neck, it is slightly too short to fully keep my head upright on its own. However, placing a blanket or jacket underneath can raise the head and help keep it upright, improving overall support. The spring loaded clasp that secures the front string feels just barely strong enough, and a stronger spring would improve security. The front strap could also be a few inches longer to make it easier to put on and take off without unclasping. Other Thoughts The version received differs slightly from the listing photos. The adjustable neck strap is located on the inside of the cover, which makes it less convenient to access. Adjusting it requires unzipping the cover to reach the strap and make changes. However, having the strap on the inside helps prevent it from being accidentally undone. Summary Overall, this is a well designed travel pillow that provides strong neck support and is a clear upgrade over standard options. It is one of the few options that works reasonably well for longer necks, making it a strong choice for that use case. It should make sleeping during long flights easier, despite some fit and design limitations. Recommendation Recommended for those looking for structured neck support to help keep the head upright while sleeping in a seated position.

Best travel pillow for long flights, layovers, car rides!
As a pharmaceutical exec shuttling between the East Coast, West Coast, and Europe, I consider a quality travel pillow essential—especially given how often I endure red-eye flights. This pillow’s standout feature is genuine customization: a quick zip-and-strap adjustment lets find your ideal fit, while shifting the top or bottom lobes dials in neck height precisely. The result is a pillow that adapts to you, not the other way around. Support and comfort are equally strong. The cradled head design kept my head upright, eliminating the dreaded “head bob” and minimizing post-flight neck pain. With a simple cord and ball-lock mechanism, it’s easy to fine-tune support for your preferred sleeping position—even when shifting in a cramped economy seat or against a window. I've even used it to nap in the airport while waiting for a flight. Finally, the built-in cooling vents are a thoughtful touch for anyone who runs warm—no more waking up overheated or clammy. For executives and frequent flyers who need red-eyes to be as restful as possible, this pillow delivers comfort, adaptability, and solid value.

The right one! Highly recommended! Very comfortable!
I am very happy I finally found the one! I have been looking for a few years and even tried a few. This is the best one! I found it by chance by looking at video about traveling on you tube. One video was about conference showing new products for traveling. Some bloger was taking interview from multiple stands. I have never heard about this brand but apparently they did alot of testing. Long story short I have trip coming up going to Japan there's no way I will be on a plane for this long without pillow. So I ordered it. I didn't have high hopes but construction was promising and that blogger said it was really comfortable in her comments, she tried it on camera. Well I received it today and omg it is sooo comfortable! It is definitely working for the purpose, which I was hoping because it is structured like a brace. Foam on inside is just the right firmness and softness. It is really comfortable. Whole thing is not too heavy nor extremely bulky. It is about 2 fists size and foldable. I like vents and I like structured support. Works perfect for me. The only hesitancy can be for young girls who is obsessed about there looks, as it can push your cheeks a tiny bit up when you resting in it. So if you are about function and no pain in the neck it is the best 100%. If you are about looks I would still try it, because it is soo comfortable and see if you are happy with it. Versatility is good too. I personally didn't need much of an adjustment, but I liked that you can easily loosen the string on the front. By the way this is NOT paid review. True customer here.

DON"T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
There should be a ZERO star rating for this product. It is VERY poor quality and did not even hold up to make it on the first trip. I saw people and the Cabeau brand at the airport with a carrying bag, (mine didn't come with one, maybe it was previously returned). A bag may have prevented it from breaking before I even got on my flight. I called Amazon from the airport to see how I could return it when I got back, or at my destination (Europe) and they said my window to return it was expired before I got back to the USA, so I am stuck with a $60 piece of junk and no way to return it! Not happy. They gave me the phone number to call Cabeau, I left a message and tried to email them - no response. Very poor business practices. They should have made this right for this much money on a cheap made in China product.

Made me reconsider my Trtl... but only for a moment
I’d been looking for a travel pillow that felt softer and less cumbersome to wear than my Trtl Plus. Don’t get me wrong—I love the support the Trtl provides. It’s one of the few pillows that actually lets me sleep on long flights. But it can feel a bit stiff, and wrapping it around my neck sometimes makes me feel like I’m encroaching on my neighbor’s space. That’s why I was excited to try the Cabeau Evolution X. It seemed to promise the same level of support I like from the Trtl, but with a softer, more traditional travel pillow design. There were several things I really appreciated that made me reconsider sticking with the Trtl: - The memory foam interior and fabric exterior are noticeably softer and more comfortable than the Trtl’s materials. - Cabeau has clearly improved the front closure compared to older models (I had a Cabeau Air(?)... or something like that... prior to the Trtl which featured a kind of chintzy closure). The thick rope-and-toggle adjustment feels secure and stays in place. The interior Velcro adjuster at the back is also genius—getting a snug fit is key for proper support. - The standout feature is the plastic supports on each side. They add a level of structure you don’t usually get with standard travel pillows. That said, the pillow was almost perfect—and almost convinced me to switch. The main drawback: While the plastic supports are a great idea, they aren’t quite tall enough to keep my head as supported as I’d like. In other words, it doesn’t match the level of support I get from the Trtl. This might have been less of an issue if it included the seat strap system from the Evolution S3. I’d absolutely consider buying this again if Cabeau offered a taller or “extra support” version with higher side supports, or added a seat strap system. With either—or both—of those upgrades, this could easily become Trtl killer.

Replaced my TRTL pillow - everything I needed
As someone who travels a lot for work, I’ve tried a lot of travel neck pillows. The one that worked the “best” for me was the TRTL neck pillow bc it kept my head upright, was easy to pack, and easy to wash. But I was always annoyed that it only had support on one side, so you had to choose which direction you wanted your head to lay. This Cabeau pillow is exactly what I’ve been searching for. It keeps my head fully upright the way the TRTL does, it has structured side support on both sides of your neck, so you don’t have to choose which direction to lay your head. It also tightens and adjusts easily for a snug fit. If you’re looking for something that is soft and all memory foam, this isn’t it. It’s more rigid so that it supports your neck fully without overheating you. The plastic portion is covered in some memory foam so it doesnt have any annoying pressure points, but you are able to feel the rigidity. This is now my go to travel pillow and I’m no longer using the TRTL

Wanted to love it but…
I wanted to love this neck pillow. It is really soft and felt it was well made. However, after 2 long plane trips it just doesn’t fit well for a person with a shorter neck. The sides under up past the bottom of the ear lobes. Could not get it to adjust so it did not sit that high. It felt like it was a medical neck brace since it doesn’t fit to a smaller neck/person. Also cannot use neck will with over the ear headphones. If the company came out with the same style for smaller necks then I may reconsider it. Unfortunately I am returning this one.

Super. Bestes Nackenkissen
Super. Bei vielen Nackenkissen sinkt man dennoch ab wenn man im Flugzeug einschläft aber das gibt den nötigen Halt. Dazu ist es dennoch weich und bequem. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

not comfortable enough
it is a very good concept with lots of potential but there are some major flaws one of which is not having enough padding. Wearing it for 5 minutes at home, my shoulder and face started to feel the plastic inside that acts as support. it is definitely not recommended for long flights. it feels like medical neck guard after fastening the front strap. if they increase the padding twice as much I can see it can become very comfortable and practical. Quality of the zipper in the back is very low and its clear it wont last long. and it doesn't come with any bag our pouch which is very strange for this price tag of travel pillow. They expect you to pay and buy the bag on their website. greedy much?

6 hours sleep on a long haul flight thanks to this!
LOVE this, I’ve tried many travel pillows with very little success but I got a good six hours sleep on a long haul flight with this one (I rarely get more than one hour!) I’m a petite 5ft 4 so the fact that this was so easy to adjust definitely helped! Only downside is that it doesn’t have a bag or a good way to fold it to be smaller

No funciona.
