Lawton, Cuba. Review of the SUNGOLDPOWER SPH10048P, 10KW 48V Split-phase solar inverter, together with 2x 48V 200Ah batteries and 2 x 6 solar panels of 620Wp each (parallel). One array facing East and the second array facing South. Today, 60 days after the installation of the SPH10048P inverter, I can confidently say that this inverter has not let us down for a single second. After searching for the best base setting #01, we settled on #01 SUB, and various settings were adjusted on the advice of SUNGOLDPOWER. The above settings were established in collaboration with the Sales department and the engineer at SUNGOLDPOWER. Given the many blackouts in Havana, this setup is a true lifesaver. Solid inverter. I have used it 9 months in my off grid power system. Works like a champ. I will be buying more of these.

Took me awhile to get all the settings correct. Does have a smell upon putting into service. Goes away after a short time. I would buy another. Good value for the capabilities.

This inverter provides everything you need to power a whole house from a solar + battery installation. You can connect to either 220VAC or 110 VAC to charge the battery. From battery power it puts out both 110 and 220VAC for running well pumps and welding gear. I dinged it one star because the minimum voltage required from the solar array is 125 VDC to charge a 48V battery. This seems to me to be an unnecessary complication.

Setup was complicated, but, I finally figured it out. Have it set for 120 volt split phase. Now, I can run all my heavy wood working tools. 120 volt or 240 volt. Batteries are slow to charge, but, that is expected with so many batteries attached to the inverter. Need to invest in higher wattage solar panels. Each inverter capable of 500 volts per charge controller at 100 amps each. Being that there are 2 MPPT in each inverter that means they are capable of quite the wattage.

For the price this is an amazing off-grid AIO! I will be buying a second unit to run in parallel.

So far this Sungold(SRNE) inverter is a beast powering any load I throw at it. Have it powering my off grid 50-amp RV and doesn't break a sweat with 2 15k BTU AC's, electric hot water heater, microwave, and electric burner running at once. It was kind of a pain to make all the AC out connections because the inverter connectors only accept max 8 gauge wire for some reason. Took quite a bit of effort to get my 4 gauge AC wiring to work. An inverter this big needs to accept 4 gauge wire especially on the neutral connection. Other than that the settings were easy to configure, my 7.5kW of solar PV is working great, and the unit is whisper quiet. I also got it communicating with Solar Assistant after buying a SRNE USB to wifi port cable on Amazon for remote monitoring. Make sure the Solar Assistant software is up to date if you try this.
