Does the job,keeps my drink hot but the lid does not seat well,too shallow. Still like it,but have to keep thumb on when carrying

This is a wonderful Item. I love the design of the Teacup/mug, the handle is comfortable to hold, the rime is ideal, the size of the Teacup/mug is just right not too big or too small, and the infuser has enough room to allow the brewing process to be completed, and it's great that it comes with a lid which enables the liquid to stay hot for a longer period. I love the colour. I thought the colour would be a much lighter orange. I love this item and I would purchase it again.😃

This is a solid mug! The ceramic is thicker than some of the other mugs I've bought from amazon-- it actually retains heat and insulates it so you don't burn your hands holding it. The strainer is deep and wide, which is really good for rehydrating tea leaves and makes for easy cleaning as well. The lid does its job of keeping steam in while the leaves steep, then holding the strainer without spilling after the tea's brewed. Appearance-wise, the mug is as-pictured, including the color. It's plain but still attractive, with no cracks, chips or other cosmetic deficiencies. This mug has held up well with frequent, daily use, steeping tea at temps from 180-200F. I've had other mugs crack after a few weeks of that heavy use. This one may fail eventually, but I'm satisfied enough with the build quality that I wouldn't mind buying it again and I expect it to last a few months at least. Plus I like the range of colors! Might buy more anyway, just to have one as a backup in case this one "disappears" at work. Looking at you, Pam.
