For those fans of Dewalt, this is the ultimate drill to buy. It’s built solid and balanced very well with the battery. It’s just feels like a true workhorse for heavy jobs like it should be. Highly recommend buying this in a kit that comes with an 8AH Powerpack battery to fully utilize the torque available. Also, it’s well worth the price to pay for the anti-rotation system. Only high end drills comes with this system.

Best drill I have ever had and I have been using DeWalt cordless drills since the 90’s

This new DRILL is powerful AF. I was able to drill concrete holes 5/16" with ease, replacing a dedicated SDS Rotary Hammerdrill. Don't get me wrong, a SDS is MADE for that task, but im just letting you know it will drill concrete up to 1/2" with ease. Having a high-end drill bit also helps a ton. Nonetheless, this thing is a BEAST. 10/10

This is a great combo and even better if you get it for under $300. The 8ah powerpack battery gives the drill plenty of power and the fast charger does indeed charge fast-with 1 bar it charged the 8ah in about an hour. Using 4", 6", and 8" hole saws, its went right through wood. With masonry bits has went through stone with no problem. Performs well with 5ah battery also. LED light can be put on 20 min timer and be used as a work light in dark attics or crawl spaces( does a pretty good job!). Anti rotation shuts it down if it tries to spin or jerk from your hand-great feature and works well. Comes with a handle to get a better grip. It has some weight to it especially when using a bigger amp battery-it is capable of some heavy work so it makes sense. Great drill and great price for under $300.

Auto shutoff saved my wrist several times. This thing is a beast and made short work of going through stucco and lathe with big carbide hole saws and a lot of tile work. I use it mainly with a power stack and put the 8ah power pack on my dewalt string trimmer. With the full 8ah setup it’s a big hoss and feels like carrying a gallon of milk everywhere lol. If you have anything that is threaded onto a shaft that’s chucked into the drill, you have to be really careful about trigger control and easing off the trigger. If you just let go, the big motor slams the brakes on the chuck and whatever you have threaded on can go flying off.
