Are these morning glory or nightshade?

It was a couple of years ago, so I don't remember the variety. My husband did not care for the domewhat bitter taste so that eas our one and only trial of them

No, it has to say non-GMO and follows gov't standards for non-GMO product labeling. It is a tricky question as purple potatoes get their color from naturally occuring flavanoids, not through a dye of some kind. If I was a grower of seed potatoes and they were non-GMO, I'd certainly advertise the fact. You can always contact the advertiser through Amazon and ask them.

They taste better than orange sweet potatoes. They are a bit richer and “earthy”. Not quite as sweet. They also take a little longer to cook. They are delicious!
