Lightcraft 14W Tri-Tube Fluorescent Pro Task Lamp - Pack of 3 Tubes

The light this casts is wide and flat and even, with no hotspots. The tube colour seems to be pretty good - to be picky it's perhaps a tad too far towards the bluer end of daylight for my taste. The grid over the tubes keep the light focussed down and prevents it from spilling on to screens and in to your eyes.Unfortunately each tube emits a buzz and, with three tubes, that's three times the buzz. It's fixed to my desk and hangs about a foot away from my ears - the buzz is distracting. I'll leave it a few days to see if this settles down or if I can get used to it, otherwise I worry this will ruin what should be a decent desk lamp.The arms are decent powder coated metal, the lamp case and grid are plastic.I would have given it five stars but the buzz is big shame and that matters to me.EDIT: after several days and comparing with other lights, the buzzing is well beyond typical and what is a tolerable background noise, so I'm returning.

Very good product

Very easy to set up on my modelling desk, and provides bright, white consistent light to the whole workspace. The arm and lamp itself are very easy to adjust and hold in place very well. Very impressed with this overall.
