Casement window option easy to install. However, getting the square exhaust plate from end of pipe onto rear of unit took 30 minutes....it looks same both sides but only slides on one way. Could mark "Top" on it. Works well...in 30 minutes down from 27°C to 20°C. Quiet enough for us.

Excellent and works well in a large bedroom. Appears good quality.

The cold air is lovely however, unit is very loud. Also my bedroom is very small so you would think 7,000 BTU will cool the entire room, i have left on for hours and can still feel warmth in areas of my room. 6/10 for me - it should cool down the entire room (very small bedroom)

Tacky plastic as levers attached to vent hinges came off because they are only of thin flimsy plastic construction.

Works fine, very compact

Noisy but does the job and gets cold quickly, would struggle to sleep over it.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Chose this unit because it was well reviewed in the press and had one of the smallest footprints. However, did not get to use it because the window fitting kit did not work on the window in the room we wanted to use it in. My guess is best to have an ordinary opening casement window or better still a sliding window. It is worth remembering that you have to vent all these AC machines out of a window for them to work. That is an absolute essential. The return process was faultless, could not have been easier.
