Replaced Northern Tool Powerhorse 2.5 GPM, 3000 PSI, because it no longer worked after just less than two years of light duty usage. This new pump bolted on perfectly, no problem. It also has different bolt patterns that will allow fitment to other engines. It has now been working for 6 months of some heavy duty usage and I have experienced no issues at all. To me the greatest improvement of all, you do not add oil to the pump. With the old pump, adding oil was a issue for me. It always seemed to leak oil at the 'oil fill' spout. I never did like it. I am retired and use my pressure more than ever. I would not hesitate to purchase this pump again and will recommend it to any of my friends. For the money, if you need a pump of this PSI, you can not do any better. Buddy.

I bought this as a replacement for my Ryobi pressure washer. The original pump started leaking past the seals and got water into the oil inside the pump; this caused the sludge that was created to start coming out of the vent of the pump whenever I used the pressure washer. This pump works very well and produces a very high pressure as good or maybe better than the original. My only concern is that this pump does NOT have a vent, so if the seals on this pump start leaking like the original pump did, it would cause the internal pump area to become pressurized. This concerns me because the pump casing is made of cast aluminum and is probably not rated for very high pressure which may cause the pump casing to burst should it become pressurized. Overall, I think that this pump is worth the VERY reasonable price.

Pump has at least two different bolt patterns, 2.5 inch pattern fit my Honda GC190, on my Simpson washer, perfectly. As others have said you will need to make an extra trip to the HW store for hex cap bolts as standard bolts do not fit the tight spaces even then it is a pain to access a straight ahead access point to wrench them down. 5 minute task takes an hour. That said initial tests went perfectly. The pump pressured up immediately and actually blew out an O ring in my wand from the improved pressure. The thought of having to fork out another 400 bucks on a pressure washer when the engine runs perfectly and is well maintained was ridiculous. Nice to find a product that has quality and a reasonable price.

OK, I was going to get rid of my power washer when A neighbor suggested I just throw on a new pump and breath new life into my machine. My machine was originally rated for 2400 psi so I figured this wasn't too far off. Fitting it on the machine seemed a little tricky since it looked like mine had a different shaft but after calling the seller, they informed me that all I need is a small part from my local HW store and I would be fine. I purchased the part (about 50 cents) and installed the pump. WOW! what a difference I feel like I have a new machine. Best $100 I spent verses a new machine for almost $500.

The pump arrived quickly and it took five minutes to install. Works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase. They had the best price. I was replacing the same style pump, and didn't need a replacement kit. Pump does not come with bolts, so be sure you have the right size on hand or buy a replacement kit to get the right length bolts. These are hex head bolts, so you will need a set of large size allen wrenches.

Had a problem with it at first. I would come off the trigger finger on the sprayer and it would stall out the engine. And right away they told me to call them first. But I did three things before I called them the power washer was stored for about eight months with gas left in the tank. I replaced the old gas cleaned out the carburetor and change the spark plug. Then I started using it and it worked great as a day went on it seemed like the pressure pump was working better as I turned off the sprayer.

The pump is excellent, works great, only thing, I had no mounting instructions, or why it said on a sticker, "use 80-90w gear oil", not knowing where ? So, I looked it up, O.K. Then realized I've mounted it upside down, cause no mounting instructions, & it may not like that the gear oil is at the bottom of filler cap, & may not be enough to lubricate the pump. So, I will turn the pump 180 degrees, giving the pump all the oil. Just a thought to put some instructions, with, if you look for return customers.

Replaced the pump on SIMONIZ S2900 (Canadian Tire Brand). Original pump started leaking after sitting outside overnight in heavy frost (wand also busted apart). Definitely saved some money since Cdn Tire wanted $220 Cdn for a new pump. This thing bolted right on, and only needed to adjust the pressure. It is a more powerful pump than the SIMONIZ one. Only reason for not 5 stars is because it came with zero documentation or instructions.
