Great!
Great camera! I bought because my other pentax fell in the water and broke. This one is really good. Lens and uv protectors also very good! I recommend!

USED GEAR IS USED
A couple of reviews on here complaining about broken stuff or whatever; the fact of the matter is, when you buy used gear from the 80's, especially on Amazon, you run the risk of getting something that doesn't *quite* perfectly.Because it's used. And it's now over 30 years old. Expect some wear and tear and some "sticky" bits that you need to sort out/fix/compensate for and use it as an opportunity to expand your creativity. I'm sure some of you don't work as well as you did 30 years ago. That being said, this is an amazing camera if you get one that works. And most of them do! Some have had rougher lives than others. It takes great pictures and has a slew of features and modes that other film cameras of that era just straight up did not. I shoot almost exclusively in what is now known as "aperture priority" mode. The only difference is that I actually manually change the aperture with a ring on the lens instead of electronically through the camera body. The Program A (Penax K Mount) lenses are great: great clarity/crispness, great boka, just solid. The body is solid: a metal construction, but has some textured plastic bits on the outside for grip and whatnot. Overall, just a great film camera. Also, if it is sticky or something, go to a camera store and have them clean it. Lord, 99% chance it will work like new without 20+ years of grandad's barn dust inside of it.I highly recommend this camera, just do your research before you buy ANYTHING used. I personally got mine off of ebay - sorry Amazon - and was able to talk to the seller before I bought it. I recommend doing that for any used gear, honestly. You're more likely to get something that you'll be stoked about and want to use more and more.TL;DR - Don't buy 30 year old used gear blindly, you dumbies.

Camera broken.
This camera was broken. We did not realize this until my daughter had 2 roles of film come out badly in her photography class. I suspected the shutter was sticking. It sounded "slow" when I first tried, but I wasn't sure. Finally, I had the teacher of the class who is more familiar with 35 mm cameras check it. She determined that the shutter is in fact broken. Now it appears that I have no way to get my money back.

Light meter doesn’t work
Really unhappy with my camera, I figure out that my light meter doesn’t work and every time I process film most of my photos are unclear or completely clear. I was expecting a really good camera even at the price it was at.
