Because of my job I have to wear tan color swede boots which get that horrible black mark along the shift toe
I did not have high expectations for this device... Then I got it and started using it. It is suprisingly well made and works perfectly!! I have not had the opportunity yet to use it in adverse (rainy) conditions but overall its performing perfectly!! Because of my job I have to wear tan color swede boots which get that horrible black mark along the shift toe. This keeps that from happening and is easy to put on and take off. I happily recommend this device

It's ok ... protects your shoe, but ...
I kind of like this product, but at the same time I don't, so let me explain. The product should protect your shoe (tennis, casual shoe or whatever you are wearing) from marks and scratches, a typical problem with motorcycles when shifting. If we judge the product based on that only, it works well. The only constructive feedback that I have on that matter is that depending of your size, it tends to go up (or close to your body) so it is not on the right place all the time. I'm size 9 on shoes and my bike is a sport-bike. When I wear this shoe protector feels like is always moving up and up and not totally covering the middle front of my shoe/feet. But I don't see scratches on my shoe, so still I guess is protecting some way. The bottom is plastic. Yes, it is a little slippery but not too bad in my opinion. However, if it's raining, is going to rain or, rained the day before, I would not wear it but my regular boots instead; actually, that's what all riders should wear after all, but ... This product should be better if they can replace the bottom for something with more traction. I would also make it two sizes instead of one size all so it will fit better for different shoe sizes. But again, this is not a big issue though. On my case, I remove it once I parked my bike and use the point of my left shoe when I stop the bike, like on traffic lights. Not the safest or MSF way, I admit. If you always wear casual shoes or tennis while riding, get this one. But be aware of those two main issues. As always, it is better and more secure wear boots instead, not "cool" or so comfortable, but it will protect your feet way much better.

Excellent!!! worth every penny.
Bought this so i wouldnt ruin my dress shoes when commuting to work. I was hesitant at first because of the reviews saying it was slippery and not effective, but im glad i bought it. I agree that the bottom plastic is a little slippery but a simple solution to this is to drag your left foot on the pavement and let the plastic get scratched up a little. Im talking from a red light about 100 feet. do this 3 or 4 times and problem solved! this also slips on and off quickly so its a breeze to put on and take off. it straps in the back so it will not fall off while riding and its adjustable for different shoes. Ive had this for 6 weeks and wear it every day on my commute to work and it has not let me down yet.

Shubandit Shifter Skinz Shoe-boot Cover
Was very sceptical, but this fits and functions very well. Protects my new, (high top) sneakers very well with no toe marks. wore a hole in my old Jordans toe from shifting before I got riding boots. Now I can still have good protection and not walk flat footed everywhere once I get off bike. Have not been in rain yet, but bottom elastic protectors don't seem slippery at all. I,m glad I bought 2 when I did.

Product is Ok
This product is Ok. Not great but just Ok. I tried this product and the concept behind it is good. But getting it in the right location were your shifter is Somewhat difficult. I placed it on my white on white air Jordan's and came home with a black sneaker. The product does work but you constantly have to keep checking to make sure it does not ride up or down on your sneaker. It even comes with a loop strap to secure it to a specific lace but still rides up. Also every time you take it Off you have to find that perfect spot every time you put it back on, Or else u will be looking at shifter marks on your sneakers. Product is just Ok.

Fits great, easy to use
I am in the army and got tired of ruining my boots with an ugly shifter stain. So, I bought this product to eliminate that problem. The product functions as advertised, but I am questioning how long it will last. The pictures I have uploaded show the damage it has already taken in just a hand full of rides, which has me wondering if it will last the whole riding season. My first worry is the velcro that is attached to the shift pad side of the product. It doesn't have any backing and started fraying from the very first wear. Second it the shift pad itself. I checked my shifter lever for burs that might be causing the small cuts in the material, but couldn't see or feel any that would be the cause. To fix this product and for me to give it five stars, the shift pad needs to be replaced with real cowhide, and the velcro needs to have a backing to hold the velcro together.
