Wow what can I say? All the years I’ve wasted money on cool boxes, this one is brilliant, kept all my cans freezing cold for days, the chocolate in the draw compartment also stayed cold, I think it was every penny as it done what I wanted.

Definitely looks good and will be ideal for what I need ( but haven’t tried it yet )

This is an amazingly well-made, rugged cooler that keeps things cold for a long time, as you'd hope. With the extra cool drawer too, it's quite versatile for camping and travelling. The main disadvantage is simply the size. It's not cheap, of course, though it's better than some of the competitors. The whole thing is well built and robust, with a solid extendable handle and good wheels that make moving it - even when full - pretty easy. The latch is strong and reliable yet easy to open. The cool drawer means you can keep things cold and yet dry when filled with ice, and is reliably closed with a solid sliding catch. And it works. Given the bulk, it needs pre-cooling even more than a regular cool-box if you aren't going to totally fill it with ice (and even then it is a good idea). But once it's cold the insulation is incredible - ice barely changing in the time a regular coolbox would see it melt entirely. The cool drawer is also useful for the simple organisation it offers - anyone who has camped with a coolbox knows how awkward it can be to find your tomatoes under the yoghurts and milk and whatnot, and that extra, organised space is great. It stops things getting crushed really well. And the whole thing is easy to clean afterwards. There is a downside, and that is simply that the thing is massive for the amount of storage it gives you. There's a reason these things are more popular in the US where people have big cars! I'd hoped to take it for our summer camping trip this year - and it would have been very useful indeed - but it just didn't fit in the car with all our gear. If you are going off-grid for multiple days with no way to top up or cool things, and have a big car, this is incredible. If you want to keep things cold without a fridge, it's fantastic. But for me, sadly, it's not as practical as I'd hoped. The next use it has will be simply when we have to move our freezer later this month, rather than a fun outside trip!

This review is for the 28l size priced at £229 at the time of this review. I've only ever had those small bags with ice block inserts before which did the job for an hour or 2 but this is a whole different level. only used it once so far but its going to get a lot of use over this summer. so easy to use, half filled the top with ice and added a few cans then some fruit, chocolate and sandwiches in the dry drawer and off we went. the top lid is secured with a large lever catch keeping the lid tightly secure keeping the ice at its proper temperature whilst the dry drawer is secured with a hefty slide lock. .... both locks very easy to operate. We filled the cooler first thing in the morning before setting off in the car an hour or so later. by the time we had got where we were going it was around 3 hours after loading it up before we had our first ice cold can ..... so far so good. The whole unit was easy to pull along across some very bumpy grounds (the large wheels and its luggage style telescopic pull handles coped very well) before we got to where we wanted to eat. This unit kept everything perfectly cold. When we got back i left it in the garage with the ice in until the following evening and the ice was still there with only a minimal amount of melt. I am so impressed with this.... yes its a tad more expensive than i would probably normally go for ..... but its the quality and how well it does its job which really does make this worth every penny. no hesitation in recommending this cooler, a definite +++AAA

This is an excellent piece of kit! This is an expensive item but worth everything penny if you are regularly camping. It is super rugged and well made. The unit is easily wheeled around despited its bulk. It is an adventure/camping must have! It enhances the camping experience as it means you don't have to relay on eating out, you can bring fresh ingredients and stay and enjoy camping for longer. We have a family of four and it's been the perfect size for bringing ice, milk, a few drinks and at least the ingredients for 1 maybe 2 dinners. It is a little on the bulky size and needs to go in at the kids feet in the back of the car but its definitely worth bringing as we save so much money by bringing our own food with us. Delighted to have this and I know it will last for many many years!

This is without doubt the best cooler I have ever used. Ok so it's not cheap, ( at time of this review the model I have, a 28l with wheels that cost £229 ) but you get what you pay for in my opinion. First it is extremely light for it's size but even when full with ice & products it is just so easy to handle when moving it about. The extendable handle is good & robust, even with weight in it the wheels just seem to glide along. As far as staying cold, well I have never had anything in it longer than 3 day's & that came out as cold as when I put it in. Not in a negative way but how it performs will depend on you to a limit i.e. how much ice you put in, in relation to how much food or drink you put in. When you are finished with it emptying & cleaning the unit is real easy. I am delighted with this cooler & would give it more stars if I could. Very, very happy to recommend this model of cooler, I would suspect that all the models in this range are just as good but I have never used them so can't comment on them. A truly brilliant product.
