This manual coffee grinder is great, especially if you were to lose power in your home you can still have a great cup of coffee

I was a little skeptical when I bought it. Some reviews had problems with it. But my electric grinder could wake the dead at 3 AM when I feel like getting up, and I want fresh ground. I crank this thing for a minute or two, set on 3 for medium grind, then dump the results out of the bottom cup into my french press. Works every time. I hold the grind setting so it can't change while I'm grinding. It's certainly not fragile. By the time I'm awake I've already had my morning work-out.

The manual grinder a good product

Not bad at all. If you want to grind a full 12 cup pot you are looking at grinding 2 full chambers worth. I only drink 6 cups a pop so it's perfect for me. Using setting #3 for drip coffee. I like it.

A good price. Small hand grinder , but works very well for what I need. I got it on amazon haul. Well packaged. 5 different settings for grinding. I would recommend

I quite like the product. I’m happy that I bought it and I have great fun blending my own spices mix together before a meal using this. However, when I first got it, it gave me a lot of resistance on the first 3 years. I could hear an aweful scraping sound as I wound the crank. I was left with very little faint white dust in the reservoir that I think is just loose bits of the ceramic grinders that were knocked off. I didn’t like that. I cranked it by hand for something like 30 minutes and still some crank dust came out. So I packed in some rice and hand cranked it all away. At this point, the grinder sounds a lot less gritty on the lower gears (which I will stay away from anyway). And now I’m pretty happy with the risk / reward ratio. I’m keeping it. But I don’t know how common this issue is with hand or machine grinders. First one I buy where I notice this.

This grinder is good. Grinds well, with not too much effort. However when I tried to set it to the grind I wanted, the outside stainless steel shell just spun. The glue that was used to glue it to the plastic grinder. The burr is steel. I am trying to glue it back on myself to save having to return it. Disappointed.

It is an excellent manual grinder for the money. I bought it to use at work, it does a great job so far. I definitely recommend this for someone who is looking for an affordable and compact grinder. It might not be suitable for really fine grounds. It looks a little coarse even at Setting 1. The results in the pictures are from Setting 3.
