Awful product
Awful product. I had the IC3 and loved it. The IC3.5 has an electronic resistance feature. The feature is stuck and I am unable to adjust resistance. The bike is basically useless.

Dead on Arrival. Massive waste of time.
Dead on Arrival. Massive waste of time.Console showing E31 error and no resistance.Unboxed the bike and spent a long time carefully assembling it, only to find out it is completely defective/dead on arrival. Total hardware failure right out of the box. I had to waste even more time and effort completely disassembling the entire heavy frame just to box it back up for a return. Incredibly frustrating experience. Avoid.

Terrible quality
Just purchased and attempted to assemble. The build quality is horrible. Just terrible lazy low quality manufacturing. For the base supports, one threaded hole is so far off its mark you canโt angle a bolt into it. On the other end one of the threaded holes has some manufacturing defect that mashed the threads so the bolt wonโt go in more than a few turns.Incredibly disappointing given the name and a well known and previously quality brand.Returning this asap.Update: tried to go through customer service to get replacement parts and was told those wonโt be available for 8+ weeks. INSANE. Avoid the Schwinn IC3.5 at all costsUpdate: should returned the bike. Customer was helpful. Received a new frame etc and thought I was good to go. Found that in shipping one of screws had sheared off leaving the main speed sensor loose and rubbing on the flywheel.Customer apologized, but then instead of the screw sent me some random parts for like an elliptical or something.Seriously, donโt buy this. Iโve seen temu furniture with better build quality.

Solid build, However, completely nonโfunctional since arrival.
I received my Schwinn Fitness IC3 last Friday and assembled it Saturday morning. I was genuinely excited about this purchaseโdue to an injury I canโt run right now, but I love spinning and was looking forward to keeping my cardio up at home. The bike is heavy and well packaged. I assembled it solo, taking my time and carefully following the instructions. Assembly itself was straightforward. It took about two hours total, with at least half of that spent unboxing and confirming all parts were present. Everything was well protected and securely taped.Iโm giving two stars solely for the bikeโs rugged construction.Unfortunately, the bike does not work.Immediately after assembly, when I powered it on, the bike produced an extremely loud, constant clicking noise. The resistance feels stuck at roughly 75โ80%, and the console does nothing. Adjusting resistance has zero effect. This is not an assembly issue. The problem appears to be internal, under a welded, non-user-serviceable hood.I contacted customer support and was advised to loosen and re-tighten all bolts and ensure the bike was on a level surface. For clarity, the bike is on a flat concrete basement floor with thin gym carpet (no cushioning), sitting next to my treadmill and other gym equipment. After that, the representative simply began reading the product description back to me.I eventually had to say, โNo, youโre not understanding.โ This is not about setup. The bike clicks loudly and the resistance system does not function at all.My case was escalated to a support ticket, and I was told Iโd hear back within 24 hours. It has been well over that timeframe, and Iโve heard nothing. This is incredibly disappointing, especially given the brand reputation and the fact that I specifically bought this bike to work around an injury. Right now, I have a large, heavy, unusable piece of equipment and no follow-up from Schwinn.Iโll update this review if Schwinn actually responds and resolves the issue.I am giving two stars, and that is for its built rugged. Deducting 3 because it doesnt work. After the assembly I plugged it in and it is making an extremely loud clicking sound. The tension feels like its at 75-80% and the console doesnt adjust the tension at all there is no response. So I called customer support and was told to untighten and retighten all the bolts and to make sure its on a level surface. Its on my concrete basement floor with gym carpet thats relatively thin. (No cushion) Next to my tread mill and gym equiptment. She then proceeded to read me the bike description, and finally I had to say "No youre not understanding"; its clicking very loudly and the tension doesn't work. Thats not a part assembled by me, its under a welded in place cap.***Update Schwinn fitness confirmed that its a bad resistance motor, the part is currently on backorder, and when it arrives they will have a technician replace. I will update my review when that happens. I have not been able to use the bike and its been assembled since April 10th.She escalated my case to a support ticket and said I should hear something in 24 hours. Its been well over that and crickets. I will update this if I actually hear back from Schwinn fitness.Trying to post a video.

Solidly built and very quiet.
First, the bike was delivered on time and in good condition. Unfortunately, a couple parts were not correct. I contacted customer service and they sent out the correct parts right away. The actual assembly was easy and quick. The bike is solidly built and has performed flawlessly. The LCD Console is a little small, at least for me. It provides all the information you would want for a ride including cadence, resistance, distance, etc. It also provides you the ability to connect via bluetooth to several fitness apps as well as a heart monitor. Most apps appear to need a subscription but MyWhoosh does not. I am still learning the features as it provides a good addition to your workout. The bike is extremely quiet and I like that it has 100 resistance levels that only requires a push of a button to change. The bike also provides a water bottle holder for you to stay hydrated during your workout and a media holder where you can place your tablet. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to using the bike in the future.

Not a good bike
The electronic tensioner doesn't work. I tried everything suggested. It's also very cheaply made. The handlebars don't tighten enough so they move when in the standing position. Just an overall flimsy bike. I expected better from Schwinn. Their professional spin bikes are great, but I don't recommend this bike at all.

Not a Magnetic Resistance bike
1. It has no markings for resistance levels. Not possible to adjust resistance to predetermined level. For example if you want to start at level 2, then go up to level 4 and then come back to level 2, good luck, NOT POSSIBLE. This also means that the bike cannot be used by two people.2. Some reviewers claim that they found a replacement brake pad in the packaging. No such thing in my case and no instructions on how to replace it.3. Very cumbersome to adjust seat and handle bar height. It is pretty much set it it up and forget it.4. More Important: Amazon website description states that this is a "magnetic" resistance bike. It is NOT. It is a "friction" based bike. Big difference between the two.

poorly designed and made display monitor
Display monitor does not work consistently, failed right away displaying erratic values. The physical bike is well made and easy to adjust and use but the display is poorly designed/made.

poor quality control - non-functioning bike
this bike arrived with a left hand crank on the right hand side - had to wait for a replacement part - finally got a chance to use it and it doesnt work - its got zero resistance - despite the controller telling me that its going up. Trying to get service from Schwinn is tricky - they take my call give me a ticket number, but then nothing happens. Does this company stand behind their products? so far, not sure they do. Quality control questionable. lets see if they honour their warranties

Worst equipment purchase ever
Ordered, first bike came broken with a tensioner that was not working at all. A replacement was sent and within 2 months of barely any use, the tension motor started clicking and no longer works. Do not order.

Boo
The bike came broken. After assembly the magnet that causes the resistance on this bike was not secured. Making the resistance very hard from zero. Was able to fix this at home because the bike is heavy so I did not want to have to deal with the return. But what garbage quality seriously. Works now, but we did have to drill an additional hole in this to secure the magnet back in place. Maybe the ic3 or ic4 are better - but dont bother with the 3.5

IC3.5
Electronic Resistance only. Broke within two months and amazon are not helping with the issue as it is past the return period. I would go with a bike that has the resistance knob and not this!
