I thought this was a novelty item, you know, to gift someone and have a laugh. However, I decided to test it by using ice cubes and seltzer. It kept it cook overnight well into the next day. OK, it's not in the middle of the summer here, but our houses, cars, and offices are warm. So I was impressed. It comes with a metal straw whose size it like those you get at Sonic, etc, a little thicker than the tiniest straws. But it goes though a rubber opening snugly which is good (avoids spills if nothing else). I don't know if everyone would like the metal feeling of a straw, but this is not an issue . I'm getting to like it. However, you will like the excellent seal the lid makes, much better than other more expensive tumblers/thermos (like Yeti).

Love it! I was apprehensive at first, concerned that the straw might not work with the way that it sits within that rubbery seal but I have had zero issues and several comments. It's good quality- the cup and the graphics, and is easy to clean. It came with a brush for the straw too. I just think it's fun but it's also a good size and value

Keeps drinks cold even in a hot car for a few hours. Seems good quality, not noticed any chipping and has a funny quote on the front that makes me smile. Would make a great gift for anyone that wants to keep their drink cold.
