Lovely
I had to get this to replace flour and I'm not allowed almonds or other flour alternatives due to a medical condition that isn't an allergy or intolerance. I was abit dubious at first as I had been told it could replace all flour at a 1:1 ratio but had never tried or used it before. Now as I'm getting used to working with it it's getting better and better. It has a wonderful rich smell and flavour, a super fine powdery texture and can indeed be used at a 1:1 ratio although I'd say maybe use a few tablespoons less depending on what you're making as it's a little drier and more absorbant than other flours. Not only is it tasty it fills you up and is versatile enough that I've used it in breads tortillas cookies cakes dumplings and as a thickener in stews and sauces without there being enough of a difference to notice it's not ordinary flour taste and texture wise. However dont use it for every meal as like everything too much becomes bad for you. It's a little darker than other products I've seen but I couldn't comment on this as it's the only one I have tried. It's good value for money more or less matching the price elsewhere and seems to me to be good quality.

Quite gritty and fibrous but good for "breading"
I am afraid I have to agree with many others as this is not "silky" or flour-like but it has quite a lot of visible fibers that will make your food quite gritty. I have used better flours and I am currently grinding this into a more useable product with a spice grinder.EDIT: added 1 star cause I have used it today instead of breadcrumbs and chicken came out perfect.

It’s all in the taste and flavour
I love the taste of this cassava flour, the smell of the flour to me like a cooked biscuit.I love this flour but I have to use it sparingly because of the cost.Yum.I like how you have packaged the flour shows care of the product.Thank you for the promptness in delivery, amazing.

A waste of money. Another Amazon disappointment.
I bought this product as I saw it included a photo of Brazilian farofa. However, the product is way too finely milled for Brazilian food (as the main ingredient of farofa; or as a simple raw or toasted farinha de mandioca to top rice and beans; or for making pirão to accompany fish). I had noticed that some customers had complained the product was too rough and fibrous, which in fact encouraged me to buy it in the first place. It is the crunchy quality of this element that is required in Brazilian cuisine. However, this product could only result in mouth-puckering gloop, not even good for pirão porridge. I will have to look elsewhere for a Brazilian brand, which will no doubt not be organic. I don't like to ask for my money back as I opened the product to test it out, even though the fine clouds of flour should have alerted me as soon as I handled it.

Great product
Very thin to me! But it’s a great flour. I need the thicker one!

Disappointed- very.grainy and heavy
Unfortunately like other reviews this is not a flour, threw away 2 lots of baking as too heavy and inedible. Have since purchased another brand and same recipes turned out with a lighter texture and tasted great.
