Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking for a replacement for my proto pipe and BOY am I glad!!! This pipe is the BEST pipe I think I have ever had. EVERYTHING unscrew to clean it out completely!! It also came in a cute little box with screens and a polishing towel too boot!!! I would recommend this pipe to ANYONE who would like a new addition to their pipe collection! Thank you Amazon!!!

Do not purchase this pipe. I knew it’s a knock off of a proto pipe when it was ordered but super disappointed in the quality. The machining of the parts is down right ridiculous. The stash tube is threaded both ends. When you tighten them up the wing that supposed to keep it from unscrewing is at 2 o’clock and the poker hole is at 4 o’clock. The hole the poker tube slides into is way too big for poker. They stuck some glue in the hole to keep it from falling out. It’s a bad joke. I purchase a lot of stuff off Amazon. This is the first time writing a review.

Works great & the storage compartment is very convenient! I’m not sure what this is made of, but I believe it is only brass plated.

Bought 2, returning both. Poorly made copy of a good product. It is plated, not regular brass. The cleaning rod diameter is too big and doesn't fit into the stem and can't be used like the original. The "keeper" won't hold the rod onto the divice because the threading won't allow the keeper to rotate into the right position. Also, the hole for the keeper is sloppy loose. I purchased 2 and am returning both. Metal from machining is stuck inside the stem.

I remember these , but the old ones were awesome. This one however....its all loose, the parts don't stay together. The poker falls out of the holder that's supposed to hold it for when ya need it. Won't be purchasing another...
