WW2 German K98 Mauser Sling

Good strap, made to WW2 period specs. Install was easy and it looks great on my restored K98

Fox perfectly.

What I like is quality for the price. I used on 4 of my Mauser the dye doesn't scratch off like my other low price Slings. Why pay more.

Visually looks nice, can’t really recommend it for anyone though due to the seemingly low quality control and durability. Buckle end of the sling was delivered with a flaw. Leather keeper isn’t even attached. Would not buy again or recommend.

The stitching and the quality of the leather are rather low, but it checks the box of a reasonable reproduction to go on a replica. I don't trust that it will be extremely durable as a reenacting piece, but for the purpose of just putting on a range toy it's more than adequate. It fits well, but the loops it comes with are extremely tight and will need to be loosened before the sling is installed for easy adjustment. The hardest part of the installation is the keeper that's installed at the tail end. Requires quite a bit of effort to remove, much easier to put back on though. Recommend that you do it after it's been looped through.
