The portable display is a little chunky but seems well made. It has good contrast (QLED), resolution (QHD) and a purse-friendly price (£113 on offer).In the box, you'll find the display in its "smart cover", attached manual with cursory instructions, a HDMI cable, two USB-C cables, a 20W USB-C power adaptor and 4 screws for VESA mounting.The "smart cover" is attached with magnets. It folds into two stand angles to choose from. When covering the display, the front and back are covered as well as the bottom side. The ports and the controls are left exposed.I connected the USB-C cable to my MacBook Air and the display powered up. There are three usable resolutions:- 1280x800 (default): big icons- 1920x1200: my choice- 2560x1600: very small lettersAny other choice I tried was broken in some way. Edit: 2048x1280 works well with the MacBook Pro, that’s even better!USB-C power doesn't seem to drain the laptop battery too fast. There is another USB-C port, a HDMI port, an audio connector on the right and a micro-USB connector on the opposite side (not mentioned). The controls situated on the left and are quite exhaustive. I selected "Game mode: FPS", "Temperature: 7500", "Contrast: 40" and I adjust the brightness as needed. Note that contrast needs to be reduced to avoid pink and green colour shifts in the greys but that seems to be a common thing.I changed the profile to Display P3 in macOS and it looks fine. There are good blacks and the picture is bright enough. The refresh rate is 60 Hz which should be fine, but I feel the screen a bit sluggish for some reason.The built-in speaker (left side) works fine. The VESA mount screw threads are centered on the back. There is a round hole in the corner of the frame, possibly to use a prop in portray mode as another reviewer found.Overall it is a good package which I am happy to recommend.

I’ve been using this monitor for a while now and it’s been excellent. The 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate is amazing for gaming on the go and text is sharp for when I'm working. I'm impressed with the colour reproduction and high brightness (requires plugging into wall to achieve maximum) that make it great for consuming media. The matte screen also helps a lot with reflections.Build quality is very solid, with a premium-feeling aluminium body, and the integrated metal stand is sturdy and adjustable. I really like that it’s VESA compatible as well, so I can use it on a proper arm when I’m at my desk. The dual USB‑C and mini HDMI ports make it very easy to hook up to a laptop, desktop or console, and being able to run power and video over a single USB‑C cable keeps the setup clean. The monitor is impressively thin and light considering it's specs, and has thin bezels all around. The included sleeve is thick and provides a decent amount of protection when travelling.This has become my favourite portable monitor and meets all my power user needs. Five stars from me and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a high‑quality portable 4K display.

I previously owned a prior 18'' model from UPERFECT. I was quite happy with the monitor and aside from some washed out colours and occasional disconnects, it served its purpose as a primary gaming monitor for my rather unconventional desktop setup. However, about a year after purchase the right side of the screen started having display issues. I reached out to their customer support as they have a 2 year manufacturer's warranty and they happily provided with me with a brand new monitor. The prior model was unavailable so they sent over this one instead and I have to say, it appears to be even better.This model has all the same features I required of the previous one - 2k resolution, up to 144hz VRR with Freesync (which lets me use Nvidia's G-Sync - you'll need to enable this through the monitor OSD and in Nvidia Control Panel) but also has much better colour quality. The physical controls are also the best out of the UPERFECT monitors I've owned. It worked without issue the moment I plugged it in, and seems to handle max brightness without trouble unlike my previous monitor.It is worth noting that I do not power it with the included USB-C power adapter. Due to power issues with the previous model, I bought a separate higher watt adapter. I have not verified whether the issue still exists with this model but it seems to work flawlessly with my current adapter so I haven't seen reason to switch.All in all, incredibly happy with the monitor and even more so with UPERFECT's customer support.

Superb monitor with good response time, 1600p Resolution at 120hz and excellent build quality. HDR is great for a portable monitor. Some tweaking of settings to get HDR looking the best is required. Freesync works perfectly with AMD GPUs - but note there's no Gsync with Nvidia. You would need a USB-C output on your nvidia GPU (mainly the 20 series Nvidia GPUs). The monitor doesn't support a Displayport protocol (so active adapters/converters won't work, and no Gsync over HDMI). Excellent over long power and display cable distances of 5-7+ meters with fibre optic digital cable or HDMI at max resolution and refresh rate. I've had Uperfect monitors before and currently have 3 (2 of these and a 1080p portable monitor). I've also had portable monitors from 3 other manufacturers. The build quality, features and performance of the Uperfect monitors are definitely the best.A special mention must be made to the tech support at Uperfect. I've had 2 issues over the years. The listing for this monitor also shows that the monitor is "frequently returned". I suspect it is a combination of compatibility and panel failure - issues that I've also had with portable monitors from other manufacturers. It must be incredibly difficult to make monitors that are bashed around and transported on such a regular basis. The difference with Uperfect is how utterly excellent their tech support and customer service has been (on the 2 occasions I've had issues). A very special mention has to go to Luna in tech support for my latest issue. Their responses were quick, efficient and friendly. I submitted a brief video of my issue (pixel failure) and a replacement monitor was sent (even though I'd had it over a year). I can't recommend highly enough. Would certainly buy more monitors from Uperfect - and in fact - are pretty much my first go-to when looking for a new portable monitor. Would easily be 5 stars apart from the 2 tech issues.

This is very large, largest I can find that fits in my rucksack - large camping type so use it for 1 bag travel. It will fit large bags and can't imagine anything bigger. For that user case it is excellent. There is a 17.3 4K 120HZ touch Alternative from another manufacture but that is more expensive.Standard interface from portable monitors. Fast refresh rate works, it seems to need a battery/ external power for more power. Colours look good but seem off to my untrained eye.If you are looking to pay the money as you want something like this I dont think it is a bad buy you are getting your moneys worth.

I've been taking this monitor with me in my backpack whenever I work away. It's not too heavy, fits in my backpack perfectly, and needs just a USB-C cable to connect to my Macbook and my Surface Pro. It's invaluable when working with a smaller screen laptop. The picture is good and it does brighten up enough for comfortable office use.My screen died 13 months after purchase. Completely dead. I contacted UPERFECT and they offered be a replacement monitor, no quibble. They are quick to respond to issues and my contact with them has been professional and extremely satisfactory. I have sent my broken monitor back (I did have to pay for the postage) and they have sent a replacement.On the whole, although it is disappointing that my first monitor died, I am more than pleased that UPERFECT honour their warranties and are quick to respond to customer issues.

I’ve been using this UPERFECT 18” 144Hz gaming monitor since Christmas, and honestly, I’m extremely impressed. I was a bit unsure at first, having never heard of the brand, but it’s exceeded all expectations.The picture quality is fantastic, sharp, vibrant, and smooth. The refresh rate is excellent, and paired with my Xbox Series X, it performs flawlessly. Colours are rich, the image is crisp, and the motion handling is on par with (if not better than) my ASUS TUF monitor, which was a real surprise.The built-in speakers aren’t amazing, but that’s to be expected with a portable monitor, I use headphones anyway, so it’s more of a bonus feature than a main one. Another bonus is the VESA mount, which is something most monitors this size don’t include. It gave me more flexibility with how I wanted to set it up.The only downside is the menu navigation it’s not the most intuitive to use. But once you’ve set everything up, you won’t need to touch it much, so it’s a minor gripe.Overall, this monitor has delivered above and beyond. If you’re on the fence due to the brand name, don’t be. It’s an absolute gem for gaming and travel.

Writing this review while using the monitor. Very satisfied with the quality of the monitor, both in build quality as well as the colors and brightness of the screen. large size while staying portable, and the 120hz is great while gaming! I was also impressed by the great customer service, fast and helpful.

Me sirve para expandir el área de trabajo disponible, generalmente para aplicaciones de ofimática, lectura de correos, ver películas y videos en streeming. Cumple muy bien para esas aplicaciones básicas que no requieren una alta demanda de prestaciones. Recomiendo su compra para ese tipo de uso.

The display is really good and crisp perfect for both gaming and work just a little disappointed with screen flickering when you connect only with type-c display output you need to plug in the adapter for smoothless experience

This is my second time purchasing a uPerfect monitor. The first one was 17” and this is the next bigger size that becomes available recently.The 18.5” is large monitor yet still portable. A single USB-C from MacBook Pro can power it and as DP port as well. Speaker is functional and kickstand is sturdy. Ideally a 4K monitor but at this price point, the balance of price and features is great.
