A Urologist recommends this for my husband's low sodium levels. It does not have salt in it, but it keeps the sodium level at a normal range. I recommend this product. It has helped him. Our insurance does not pay for it.

Purchased as recommended to increase salt levels in body. Drink in 12 ounces of water and find to be tasty. If you like lemon lime it’s strong but not overpowering. Using has increase levels but follow doctor orders. I have found the price to be less than a local pharmacy to purchase. Very satisfied with quality and packaging to order again.

Ure-Na is a medical food, approved by the FDA, to improve the serum sodium levels in your blood by about 8 to 10 points in people who need more sodium, such as those suffering from hyponatremia. If your blood serum sodium levels dip way below normal, you may find yourself very sick and in need of ER treatment. Ask your doctor about the use of this product if your blood serum is too low. I know someone with this problem, and found out about Ure-Na before the treating physician was aware of its wide availability and of its benefits for those with low serum salt levels. This problem is often mentioned as low salt levels in the blood, but is more correctly described as a low serum sodium level. See Wikipedia for a more complete description of hyponatremia, or ask your physician about your serum sodium levels if you have a concern.
