DITA VON TEESE AU CRAZY.. - SP

I was slightly wary about buying this dvd after having read so many negative reviews on here, but I was pleased to find that I enjoyed it very much. The main feature contains three of Dita's acts, Lazy, Teesing and Le Bain Noir, all of which are quite different from her best known performances. The acts by the Crazy Horse girls are incredibly slick and well produced, but be aware that the Crazy Horse is NOT, and does not claim to be, a burlesque club, its a topless cabaret review. Anyone who purchases this expecting a classic burlesque show, or lots of Dita will be disappointed - this is not a Dita production, just a guest spot. Personally I wasn't too keen on the light shows, but they are and always have been an integral part of the Crazy Horse shows. The extras are interesting and informative, and feature a great interview with Dita herself, as well as lots of backstage footage. I would recommend this to anyone prepared to read the title properly.

It's good to finally catch some DVD material on Dita. The extras are good, specially Dita's interview. The only setback is the show itself. I was expecting alot more of Dita, but there were only 3 dances with her and a short appearance by the end of the show to receive the audience's applause. The rest is "just" Crazy Horse dancers. If you like the Crazy Horse shows and Dita, it's a perfect purchase. If you're more into Dita than Crazy Horse, well... You can always watch her sequences repeatedly :P I still recommend it, just don't think you'll see Dita all the time during the show.

Just got the DVD today and watched it with the girls from start to finish. Lovely very arty performances of the Crazy Horse girls, their choreography is spot on! And oh my goddess the guys who deal with the lighting effects have a job and a half with those shows. 3 of the performances on the DVD are Dita's and they are very different to the rest of the Crazy Horse showcase. However it's all put together so perfect it works and just gives it a great range so it does not become samey. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the main show part of the DVD as well as the interviews. I think anyone who loves Dita and/or the Crazy Horse ought to have this in their collection. Just brilliant!

Good quality video but I was a little disappointed that Dita only appeared in a couple of the scenes. The other women were very attractive but I really bought it for Dita...

i love dita and looked forward to getting the dvd. wot can i say hats off to the whole performace, great lighting superb choreography by all. well done dita and troupe

I love Dita Von Teese. I have met her twice and seen her perform once but this showing is poor and its so disappointing. Her performances are good but there is too much from the crazy horse dancers and there performances are abit on the cheesy side for me. I fast forward just to watch Dita but there isn't much of her to watch, about 3-4 performances.

Well I purchased this item at the same time as an 'Immoidesty Blaize' DVD and this one was disappointing to say the least.I certainly will not be visting the Crazy Horse in Paris anytime soon based on this. Dita von Teese does not feature enough given the billing it would have been nice to know how manmy minutes of the total she is on stage for.I saw a much better burlesque shor on stage in a circus tent in Norwich earlier this year!All in all it is poor production playing on a stars name too much I do not think I will be keeping it in my collection for much longer.

Bought this for my hubby and we watched it together only complaint was not enough Dita otherwise a good show
