I mostly got this gun to spray house paint for furniture projects, so the 2mm nozzle is great. When the gun arrived the box had been completely destroyed in the bag so the parts were everywhere. Fortunately, everything was there and in great shape. When hooking up the gun to spray I was able to get a good pattern and spray really well. The included regulator is not great but I do like that it lets you know the correct pressure. Some of the components are not the smoothest and adjustment is not great. The gun works well if you can do your fine tuning with the trigger and regulator.

My painter says this spray gun is a great way to learn how to use a paint sprayer without a lot of investment. He says as follows: The air pressure gauge is junk, so I found one here on Amazon with really good reviews to replace it. The 1 piece body of this paint sprayer is built solid with cast aluminum like the ones sold at HF, but you get 3 different size nozzles compared to only one. Also, there's no arguing about the quality of the paint cup, as it is manufactured by 3m. Ok, Now I'm not going to repeat the rest of the info you've already read in the original description, so I’ve attached pics of the users manual as well. This was my first attempt at spraying paint with a gun. The gun worked fine for me as someone without experience. The regulator that comes with it is garbage and I needed to use the regulator on my air supply to bring it all the way down which isn't ideal. The instructions are lacking any information about operation and assembly/disassembly - I based operating PSI off the gauge on the regulator and tried to keep it in the green zone.

As someone with limited experience with spray guns but years of experience with air tools, I had a mechanic friend of mine test this out. He liked that the kit was complete with thread tape, the various nozzles, and that the trigger on the gun was responsive. The gun has a good balanced feel when working with it even connected to the air hose. However, the cheap regulator that it came with is basically crap. He hooked the gun up to his normal set up and had much better success. So if you’re looking for a good value project spray gun, this is it. If you’re looking to paint a car or something high end, this isn’t the gun for you.

The value for money here is really good. For a novice, you get a lot of bang for the buck. I am certain someone who knows what they are doing will demand better, but I am willing to bet that this sprayer will exceed the capabilities of any beginner, and even some with more experience. The regulator is... questionable. But it has one, and if you don’t have the ability to dial it in closely, it gives some ability to see what is going on for repeatability. I recommend.

Overall, this is an acceptable set at the price point. The gun itself is of great quality and worked very well. However, the regulator was simply not acceptable and did a very poor job. I ultimately purchased a new / better regulator and now it works excellent.
