This eye cream from the Optase company has been a soothing choice for my sensitive eyelids and surrounding areas. I originally received it from my eye doctor as a gift at an anniversary party he was hosting. He raffled off various items from the Optase line. I was lucky enough to receive this bottle of "renewal cream". I was just finishing it off, and happy to see that it was available on Amazon for overnight delivery. No dissing of the doctor, but I don't know the next time that I'll be going over to his office to but a bottle from him. It's slightly thicker and more emollient than another popular brand that I've used previously. And yet, it doesn't make my eyes feel gummy after application. In other words, the cream solution stays put where it's placed; it doesn't seem to migrate to other adjacent areas. The cream is quick and easy to apply to freshly cleansed skin. I usually use it morning and evening. It's certainly a base layer before applying concealer and eye makeup. One pump can usually serve to provide application to both eyelids and under-eye area. The bottle I "won" at the anniversary party in November lasted me almost six months. There are days when I haven't used it, so perhaps a four to five month longevity might be more reasonable for someone who uses this every day.

Ive used 2x now. I have VERY sensitive skin around my eyes, most eye creams BURN. I have had no irritation using this. And I can see it had hydrated well!

I have extremely dry and inflamed eyes. My Dry Eye Doctor recommended this for areas all around the eyes Helped with severe redness and itching. Highly recommend but Amazon stopped carrying it. Very disappointed

I have dry eye, and therefore, my eyes are extremely sensitive. I have spent the last year searching for a brand that I could actually use under my eyes where most women have the dark circles and puffiness, and have tried four or five of the most popular and rather expensive eye creams. This brand finally does what I want it to. I can put it directly under my eyes and on the tops of my cheekbones where the wrinkling is most apparent and it does not burn my eyes, even overtime. I usually use it at night but I have used it in the morning with the same great results. I am so relieved to finally have found something that does not burn my eyes. It has been a long and extensive search. You only have to use a tiny dot under each eye and it will cover the orbital distance from the outside corner of your eye to the inside corner of your eye including down to cover the tops of your cheekbones. Feels nice and creamy without any heaviness or stickiness. Absorbs easily. Will update at a later time after I have used for a few months.

BE CAREFUL! I was tired when I ordered this! My eyes were bothering me badly. I needed drops. THIS IS NOT EYE DROPS. I couldn't remember the name of the drops that I normally use. I was tired and did a search possibly for eye moisturizer/lubricant. I didn't do much reading...my eyes were tired, blurry and dry. When the package arrived, I was SO EXCITED! I put the box/bottle on my nightstand. Before bed, I opened the box, gave the bottle several shakes and inserted two drops in my eyes. I thought the spigot applicator was quite novel. ☺️ The drops were painful but I figured that was because my eyes had been dry for days. They had been bothered me so badly. The next day I got my reading glasses to see if I should have put only one drop per eye. 🤨WHO PUTS the PICTURE OF AN OPEN EYE On a box TO SELL A PRODUCT NOT INTENDED FOR the OPEN EYE? 🤔 I tell you...I'm 100% at fault for not paying closer attention to what I bought and using it in my eyes without further reading. My eyes were DRY! What I thought that I was ordering was a product that looked similar what I usually buy: SYSTANE (A LUBRICANT EYE DROP). The bottle looked similar in the ad. [W/O ref to size] I didn't have a reference point for size judgement when ordering.I messed up. Okay? Anyway, based on the box lid I still thought I'd bought drops for my chronic dry eyes. *box lid and front of the box ALL CAPS *OPTASE LIFE ''SENSITIVE EYE'' DAILY RENEWAL CREAM I used the product in borh of my eyes. IT WAS PAINFUL! But I figured with the days I'd gone without drops it was 'acceptable'. The following day: Where I found the WARNING: On the top right side of the box : **For external use only. Do not apply directly into the eye. *All CAPITAL LETTERS and WARNING ** : The actual warning is upper and lower case type.

I actually bought this by mistake. I thought I ordered the eye drops. But.....I decided to try it. It is the best eye cream I've ever used. And I've tried alot. It is so creamy and luxurious. It definitely helps with fine lines and wrinkles. I just love it!

Recommend by my eye Dr and am very happy with this eye cream. It has reduced the problem of my itchy eyes and helped with eye dryness and blurry vision. I think I even have more eyelashes!
