This is my first product from Celimax that I’ve tried and I am blown away! A word of warning if you’re new to retinol however - this is powerful stuff. When it has the word ‘shot’ in the name, I didn’t realise it was akin to the K beauty phenomenon of ‘reedle shot’ products, where tiny spicules pierce the skin to help the product penetrate the skin. This feels like tiny sharp pricks all over your face - I love ‘feeling’ like my skincare is doing something so I love this feeling - but a word of warning if you’re not expecting it. The result next day - fabulously smooth skin, smaller pores and a brighter complexion. I don’t think I’ve ever had a product that has such a quick impact on my skin. Highly highly recommend this - although I’d advise taking it slowly and using 1-2 times a week to get your skin used to it. as with any retinol, SPF is an absolute must. It has no scent, is light yellow in colour and in a 50ml pump tube, I’m confident I’ll be able to use the full amount without losing product in the packaging.

it feels like micro needling in a bottle. really good on scar tissue, wrinkles and around the eye area when you've built up the tolerance for retinol. it has made my skin feel smoother and feels softer too.

Haven’t used this every night but even with using it a couple of times per week before bed after using a gentle facial cleansing wash first, my skin feels more plumped and looks like my pores have shrunk a little too. Doesn’t feel greasy or heavy and you don’t need a lot as a small amount goes far.

This is the best retinol I've ever used as far as efficacy, in the last 7yrs. It's mega strong so may I suggest using a little at a time...like 1 pump for whole face ,half for eyes and best to tone or moisturize first. Any other companies outside Korea producing the same stuff charge 10 x more.

This serum is easy to apply, but don't be surprised if you notice a light prickling sensation after putting it on. The tiny spicules create that feeling, and in my case it disappeared after a short time. My advice is to introduce it carefully. Although the formula isn't very strong compared to some retinol products, everyone's skin reacts differently, so using it only a couple of times a week at first is a good idea. Be careful not to apply it around the eyes or on the eyelids, as those areas are much more sensitive. I also store mine in the fridge, which makes it feel soothing and refreshing during application. So far, I've found it comfortable to use as long as I respect my skin's tolerance and don't rush into daily use.

Love this product, it’s the original one as everywhere you can find dupes. Tingling sensation when apply but wears off quickly. Definitely worth the price and definitely going to order again

I was very pleasantly surprised by how good this is and despite subsequently trying other brands have come back to it. I thought it was another TikTok fad until I tried it. Tingling sensation but not painful which helps other products sink into skin. I noticed a positive difference in my skin straight away. Best used in conjunction with the retinal cream. I found better than those Reedle products.

I haven’t been using long enough to comment on effectiveness but the product is very odd in application. It’s quite painful and isn’t a pleasure to use.

One of the best retinol serums I used. This is a second time I have purchased it. I initially got it in a package with the shot and while the shot didn’t make a comeback the serum did. You can really see the results after one week of application - skin is smoother and pores are smaller. The texture of my skin also improved visibly! I notice that pigmentation (which started to really pop out at the age of 34 for me - all that tanning 10 years ago) is less visible and after using this product for a couple months already I can see a significant improvement with all counts. I use this every other night alternating with vitamin c.
