I’ve been using the Casabrews CM5418 daily for about 2–3 weeks to make espresso and milk drinks (mainly cappuccinos and lattes). I bought it as a step up from pod coffee, and overall it delivers solid results for the price, especially if you’re willing to learn a bit. Setup & ease of use: Setup was quick (around 15–20 minutes) and the machine is ready to use within about a minute of switching on. The compact size is a big plus — it fits easily on a standard kitchen counter without taking up much space. Controls are simple and straightforward with single/double shot options. Coffee quality: Espresso quality is surprisingly good once dialled in. With fresh beans and a medium-fine grind, it produces a decent crema and a strong, smooth shot. It’s not café-level, but it is clearly a step above pod machines and instant coffee. Consistency is good once you find the right grind setting. Milk frothing: The steam wand works well but has a learning curve. It can produce decent foam for cappuccinos and usable microfoam for lattes, but it’s not very powerful compared to higher-end machines. Beginners may need a bit of practice to avoid large bubbles. Everyday use: Noise is typical for a pump machine and not overly disruptive. Cleaning is fairly simple, although the steam wand needs wiping immediately after use. Downsides: * Mostly plastic build (feels budget but not fragile) * Steam wand takes practice * Included accessories are basic * Not ideal if you want full barista control Verdict: A very good entry-level espresso machine. Best suited for someone moving on from pod coffee who wants proper espresso at home without spending £300–£700+. I don't write reviews very often, so you could say this is my first one. This purchase could be quite expensive for somebody, so I decided to share my opinion to help other buyers. This coffee machine is a great choice for those who love coffee. I only drink coffee with milk, so I was looking for a machine with a steam wand. I read a lot of reviews on this product – I’ve had the machine for 2-3 months now, and everything works perfectly. Thanks to the other reviews, I was prepared for the fact that the machine is noisy. This is true, but it wasn’t a problem for me, as I prioritized other factors when choosing. Some people received faulty machines; the only issue I noticed was a cracked red part that’s used as a steam wand cleaner, but this is absolutely not a problem for me. Another thing I noticed when buying the coffee machine in silver is that it gets smudged easily. Some fingerprints stay on it until you clean it with glass cleaner (so far, that’s the only thing I’ve tried, so I’m not sure if other cleaners would work). This is only an issue for perfectionists. I think most people won’t even notice it. As for the machine's operation – it’s pretty easy to figure out. The package includes two manuals: one is more detailed, and the other is a quick-start guide with pictures showing how to set up the machine and make coffee. So, I understood how to use it very quickly. The coffee turns out amazing. I can even drink it without sugar. I know a lot depends on the type of coffee, so I chose one that’s not too acidic or overly roasted (Lavazza Qualita Rossa). Overall, it’s a worthy purchase. I really enjoy the process itself; it’s meditative. I hope I’ll be able to update this review over time. It will be interesting to see and report how the machine performs once the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

Love the machine but trying to find out how to turn the water temperature down is very hard to find and still no answers.

I’ve had the CASABREWS CM5418 for almost two years, and it has been a great espresso machine—consistent pressure, good crema, and reliable daily performance. Recently, it developed an electrical issue where switching it on would trip the breaker. I contacted CASABREWS support, and their response was exceptional. They analysed the issue properly, replied quickly, and immediately offered a replacement without requiring me to return the faulty unit. Their attitude was professional, kind, and genuinely customer‑focused. A good machine is great, but a company that stands behind its product is even better. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with this machine so far. It’s compact, looks smart on the counter, and pulls a decent espresso with a nice crema. The steam wand works well once you get used to it, and I’ve been enjoying making lattes at home without any fuss. The pressure gauge is a nice touch and makes it easy to dial things in. For the price, I wasn’t expecting café-quality results, but it’s honestly better than I thought it would be. Ideal for daily use and a good option if you don’t want to spend a fortune.

Absolutely amazing machine and really affordable ! (No affiliation to seller ) so far works great , manufacturer offers a 1 yr warranty. I have bought this machine quite sceptically but it brews a really nice strong coffee (I prefer double shot) with intensely roasted coffee. (Illy) If you grind your own coffee fresh and preheat the portafilter -let hot water run through before putting coffee in there - you’ll get coffee shop quality beverage at home. (It brings the taste and strength close to the classic moka pot) the coffee has a nice thick crema that doesn’t dissolve! (Btw I worked as barista some years ago and I have been searching for an affordable machine for home since - I think I found it now ) I had a DeLonghi Dedica Arte before— that one I had to send back because it brews lukewarm weak ice tea looking thing compared to this machine ! The machine is nice looking , sleek and compact doesn’t take up too much space :)

Looking for a quiet coffee maker? This isn't it. It is very noisy in the coffee making stage. In the milk frothing stage it makes a bizarre thumping noise. Why then 5 stars? It makes great coffee - a perfect cappuccino. If you can put up with a bit of a racket, this is a great coffee maker!

Love this machine as someone who just simply wants great tasting espresso at home. Can make cheap coffee taste good! The extraction can be quite bubbly for some reason but always a lovely thick crema! the milk frother is quite temperamental as you do need to purge it every time, sometimes twice... it also squirts out water off and on for about 5s when you start the steam which is kinda annoying but truly a minor when you look at the price compared to higher end machines as id rather pay 1/10th and deal with it! Tolles kleines Ding. Endlich mal ne Idiotensichere Beschreibung für die Inbetriebnahme. Die selbe Menge Pulverkaffee kommt viel besser rüber als durch den Filter. Dann is das teil auch noch günstig und nimmt nicht viel Platz weg. Einfach der Hammer. Eine Tasseneinstellung nehm ich für Espresso, passt in das Puppentäschen Und 2 Tasseneinstellung hab ich für normale Tasssenkaffeebefüllung genommen. Aufheizen tut sie auch ganz fix und das ganze ohne lärmende Geräusche. Die Siebträgereinheit lässt sich durch leichtes drehen zu der Aussparung leicht zerlegen und säubern. Alles aus VA, Weltklasse. Kollege hat sie schon was länger und is auch begeistert.

Pour l'instant très bien,gout du café impeccable avec du lavazza expresso intense. J'ai essayé des dosettes en papier souple pour le déca et c'est très bon. . J'espere trouver la methode pour n'avoir que de la vapeur pour la mousse. Ne comptez pas sur le "conseiller" d'amazon. il m'a proposé un retour! mais j'ai interrogé Gemini, une IA, qui m'a expliqué comment faire pour avoir de la mousse et en finir avec le bruit assourdissant du mousseur. Peu à peu j'apprends et je me regale car je fais mes essais avec du lait de soja au chocolat ! ce soir j'ai eu helas mais que 5secondes d'un bruit horriblement assourdissant ( preuve que je m'y prends encore mal) et bcp de mousse...genial! Donc je le garde malgré acouphenes.

Hace un mes que la adquirimos. Estamos muy sarisfechos con esta cafetera. He leidi criticas que refieren café aguado, sin crema, o que es de mala calidad. Mi opinión es la contraria y pienso que la relación calidad precio es imbatible. Desconozco la durabilidad y veremos si sigue funcionando en un futuro. De entrada muy bien. Las quejas por el mal café estoy convencido que es un problema de molienda del Granollers de cafè, de la preparación o de la propia calidad del café. O el uso de molinillos de baja calidad. El café es estupendo si se prepara correctamente y es de calidad. He tenido muchas cafeteras y mi opinión es que es más que correcta. Hablo en mi caso

Ho acquistato la CASABREWS Macchina da Caffè Espresso da qualche settimana e sono molto soddisfatto! Con una pressione di 20 bar, prepara un caffè espresso perfetto, ricco di sapore e crema. È facile da usare, anche per fare un cappuccino, grazie alla funzione manuale per la schiuma di latte. Il serbatoio da 1L è comodo e facilmente estraibile per una pulizia senza problemi. Mi piace anche il piano scalda tazze che tiene le tazze calde. Il design in acciaio inox argento è elegante e si adatta bene alla cucina. Potenza di 1350W garantisce prestazioni ottime. Un'ottima macchina per chi ama il caffè con la schiuma e da bar.
