BOWERY HILL72" Triple Slim Multimedia Storage Rack in Espresso

Bought this for my video game collection. It took me quite a bit of time and floor space to put this together. At first I felt like it wasn't very sturdy but once I got the back on it and set it up It is very sturdy. This thing is not coming down! It doesn't sway or wobble at all. The unit doesn't take up much space once its set up. My games fit perfectly on it, they don't stick out at all.

DVD and BluRay storage. When you turn it over to attach the backing, DO NOT PUSH DOWN ON IT. It will separate. I had to take it apart and glue the two halves together. When I turned it over again, I used 4 pieces of 2X 4 to support them while attaching the back. I also reinforced the corners and where the two halves attach with 1/4 inch plywood.

I have put together many book shelves, CD racks, DVD racks in my life but the direction on this one is horrible. The pieces do not go together without the particle board splitting. The screws are cheap and can be stripped easily. The whole process is so aggravating because it is not easy to put together. I am so mad and the cheap material used. This was expensive and I expected more. I will never buy a product from them again.

Great item at a very good price. It holds tons of DVD's and was very easy to build.

We purchased this unit (not on this account) for the storage space and size. I does have good size so I had to makemodifications rather than to return it. Here are the issue to be aware of:1. Instructions are poor - doesn't show orientation of unit well and if you follow them you will damage this unit.2. This unit comes in 2 halves - upper and lower. To secure the upper and lower this is held together by 4 camber boltsand wood pegs - plus "backing board". The camber bolts are screwed into 4 plastic anchors in the lower half, and thesedon't secure as tightly as they should. AFTER you assemble the 2 halves the instruction tell you to turn over the unit for the backing. THE BASE is larger than the top IF you turn it over this WILL tweak the middle of the units and theplastic camber bold anchors will pull out. Screwing the anchor bolts in will not keep the 2 units tight enough - will be rather rickety.3. The backing comes in 2 halves and connect clam shell like in the center. This is not very good design for support of the unit. Since the two halves are connected in the center (tweaked) camber anchors this should be one single sheetof backing. (VERY small nails included) which I feel hard to hold much less support they unit. I didn't use these useless nails.5. Instructions should have mentioned the need of a work bench to keep weight off center for attaching the back.I reinforced this unit by purchasing 4 mending brackets and attached in the center across the back. I used #8 x 1/2" wood screws to the brackets and the used them on the attaching of the cardboard backing. This did stabilize the unitfor my needs but keep in mind this unit is very top heavy to attach to the wall!
