I have photos that are in at least a dozen different sizes. Do photos have to be a specific size to fit in this album or will various sizes fit?

Every single pocket is a 4x6 either vertical or horizontal. So no bigger than a 4x6 will fit and when putting smaller ones in they didn’t stay in place very well

Are different sizes of sleeves(5x7, 8.5x11) able to be easily put into this album?

All 4x6 inch size. Two slots are vertical and three slots are horizontal on each page. Highly recommend this book. I have 2. No slots for 5x7 or 8x10.

Do the clear pockets show the backside of the photo if you do not put in the pictures back to back?

Maybe slightly but not a lot. Each page is white with a clear cover-like over it. So you may faintly see though it. But not very much.

Can pages be taken out. This is the cutest album ive found for my niece but I don't need that many slots.

Yes! I have not tried yet, but my mother who is a very experienced scrapbooker looked at it and said it’s possible, however it’s more easily done with two people because you have to hold it steady or something.
