I have one central air unit in my two story home; so the upper level is a bit warmer especially when cooking, working out, or having company.This air conditioner kept my living room and dining room cooler and made cooking bearable in the summer. It didnt reach the bedrooms in the height of the heat. But thats fine because the main rooms were cooler.It’s not a noisy unit, but I needed to turn up the tv a bit louder to hear over the unit.It’s easy to set up, the only harder part was connecting the hose onto the back of the unit. It didnt twist on as easy as the directions make it seem.The panel for the windows is easily sizable. The unit is on wheels and slides away easy. The remote control is great. I put mine on dehumidifier sometimes and that help to have less water collect in the bottom.Great buy.

If this product fails on me in the near future I'll change my review, but for the moment I am very satisfied. I am a person where if I get hot I regress to infancy. The tantrums, as my wife can attest, are awful. Our last AC died on us near the end of last summer. Queue the hottest day in recorded history, the day the AC arrived. Before I had it installed I had done my best wicked witch impression and melted into the floor. Within one hour of it being installed my wife was crying because of how cold it had become. I have now put traps around the controls and hidden the remote so she can never change the temperature. I have never been happier.

This order came with a “portable” air conditioner with a remote control.This air conditioner is NOT really all that portable. It’s quite heavy and slightly loud when turned up all the way. The overall quality is pretty good, despite these issues. It cooled an average-sized garage in about ten minutes. It has some terrific cooling power. This isn’t an air conditioner that you install in a window. It simply stands up on its own. The remote control works just fine. If anything, the size of the device is more of a hindrance than anything else. Other than those flaws, I really recommend this.

So far it is solving my issues with my home AC not being able to handle the heat from my electronics in my living room (20'x30' with a 15' tall ceiling). It is a nice balancer to keep my central AC from running too much because it only reads the living room temperature. My only complaint is the window adaptor kit is...well, it is not designed very well. Without sealing it yourself, it leaves gaps that would otherwise allow the outside air/bugs to enter even with the window closed. I sealed the holes with caulk and it seems to have worked. It is the slider portion of the design that creates that gap (one side is larger than the other).

This is my 3rd portable ac in a camper in west Texas and by far out performs the others I’ve had. It’s quiet and turns off when it reaches temp so it doesn’t just run constant
