This product is actually better overall than I expected having read some negative reviews and being pretty capable of making something similar from scratch. It went together easily from the instructions but I would suggest fully reading them first because you could choose to set the unit up easier by doing some steps out of order. I was upset at first because the unit was marked as delivered even though only half of the parts had arrived. After contacting the seller, they reassured me that the rest would be delivered shortly and it was two days later. If you are intending to setup an entrance in the rear for a window flap entrance, it will have to be above 3 feet from the base as the only rear door is at the top. I intend to make my own custom entrance but for now I have the unit turned backwards to allow my cats to enter.

I looked for months before I found/chose this one. I have 5 cats and coyotes in the area so wanted to keep them safe. It seemed flimsy at first when I built it, but once it’s secure to the wall it’s really sturdy. Definitely takes two people to build, and I normally do everything alone. I did most of it alone but had to prop it up on the wall as I built it. But the shelves I HAD to have someone help me with. A drill is a must for this, would take eternity otherwise. Finished it in 3 hours alone. I did have to build a platform for underneath since my cats were going to use my room window as an entrance to the house. Cost about $75 to make that. I also bought a window doggy door (vertical) on Facebook marketplace ($40) . Then I put my security screen over that and just cut a hole to align with the doggy door flap so that I can still have privacy. You can see in the video when I first had no screen, then the picture is after where the window screen is up. I used affirm to make payments on this cause it’s a little expensive, but so worth it. Cats are safe now and can still go outside for fresh air. The white plant vase is actually their litter box. Got that on sale at Target for $75. Ok I’m done lol, hope this helps you

This is a great catio, not co.plicated to put together. Material isn't as sturdy as id like for it to be for the price, but sturdy enough for the cats.

My spiny tailed iguana loves it. Takes a little time to put together but looks great and is strong enough to keep cats out.

I was very disappointed, this did not hold up but three months! The frame started bending when the cat was on and of the shelves, or hammock. It was put together properly and was not that hard to do but it didn’t last. For $350 I expected more!!

Pieces were definitely made backwards, but we got it assembled. The shelves have a Cedar look/smell to them, so I may end up replacing them as it is not truly safe for cats. Also missing the top cover, but we are using this indoors so it doesn't really matter. Overall it works and if it didn't use cedar, I would rate it higher. Read through all instructions, it gets sturdier the more you put together

This is amazing and comfortably contains 4 cats. Very large and stable. The build was normal maybe a few modifications here or there to make sure everything lines up correctly. Have some wood glue as well. But it was worth it. Compliments on appearance and numerous people asking where we got it!

I’m disappointed. This Catio is good for while I am around to make sure my cats are safe. I live in the mountains and I worry about predators. A dog can easily do damage, I don’t want to think what other animals can do. It’s not very safe or sturdy. The wood is cheap, thin and will warp within a couple of weeks. After looking on line for a Catio, I found the same thing on several websites. This one is temporary, next season we plan on building one with heavier materials. If you don’t have to worry about predators it would be fine. I don’t know how many seasons it will last. It’s just made with the cheapest materials.
