Our toddler has become a fanatic of these books. She constantly talks about perseus, hermes, odysseus and polyphemus. Sometimes we can avert a tantrum by opening up a favorite story and reading. The books are also beautifully toddler sized as she likes to pick them up and carry them around the house. So far she hasn’t asked too many questions about the fratricide, adultery, wars, murders and other themes that I hadn’t meant to introduce to a three year old... fortunately she just focuses on the monsters and flying people, doesn’t seem to bothered by the rest...
