Q: please some one help me i try get this for my hummer but i don't understand this notes: valve only, use together with 12579283 bracket what is this

Also I purchased this part for my 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ not my Hummer. I've purchased many parts for both of these over the years. I haven't cross referenced parts/#s on the Hummer vs this part but if the purge valve above is a replacement part on the Hummer then the bracket would of course also fit but like I said and I noticed another person or two also said you shouldn't need to order the bracket also and replace the bracket unless it was broken or you broke it when replacing.

Q: My 2006 cobalt ss is dying right after i tie it on when i put gas i was told by a mechanic this will do the trick so that it would no longer shut off

My vehicle was showing a code that stated to change this part. It fit and worked perfectly. Code gone and smog test was passed.
