Solidly built.
This transformer is heavy for its size, which speaks well for the transformer. It is sealed, so I won't comment on internal contruction. It is 12vac and about 2Amp output which is more than I need to run a fountain pump and lights I have.

Product is two prong with no ground which may be important to some. The product worked so far. The last one a similar model made by the same company lasted only 3 years. Will see how this does. Packaged in a loose bubble pack which could have had more cushioning for the heavy transformer.

Great replacement transformer
I used this transformer to replace a overheating aged unit. Works great and generates about 82degF which is normal. The indicator ON lamp is a nice feature. Great product.

Junk - 2 DOA
Ordered one. Dead on arrival with 0V output (green light still turned on) confirmed using multiple outlets and a voltmeter. Ordered a replacement. EXACT SAME ISSUE. They can work as nightlights with the green LED, but that's all these do, since they don't output any power. Total waste of time and money.
