I used two of them to cover a mail slot on the inside and outside of door. The material looks good, the screws #6 were not so good and I’ll probably change them to a larger #8.

Used to protect my front door from dog scratching. Works perfectly!

Check the box for the correct color when you receive them. They are very nice but I ordered 4 a few months ago while remodeling. Contractor went to put them on and 2 were Matte Black that I ordered and the other two look like oil rubbed bronze. I tried to figure out how to contact the seller but gave up. Tried to paint them. They don’t look right. So long story short-make sure they are right when you get them.

My handyman installed and it looks great with other brass hardware on my new blue door.

Doesn't seem like it's a dull finish which was the look I was going for.

.The plate is pretty solid and the overall quality is good but the crews are so cheap they broke during installation. So annoyed bc now I have a screw sticking out and had a hell of a time trying to get it into the wood.

That's literally what the purpose of these are for me! :D
