On our second year with this GREAT PRODUCT! This Sailshade drops the pool temperature by 10 degrees, so 90°F water becomes 80°F a few days later. It keeps the pool usable and active even in a heat wave. It even keeps the chlorine usage lower. FABULOUS Product!! We stored of course, indoors last winter but we never took it down last year for storms or rain! Hard rain makes it stretch down to the water, but then quickly dries and rises back up. Its worth every dollar. Thank you for a product that works!!

Great shade sail at a good price but upon 4th installation 3 days after return period I discovered a tear. The shade sail has only been up for a graduation party, birthday party, and 2 other weekends and I had hoped it would last at least 10 events. I was careful to never leave up in windy or rainy conditions and stored carefully. I drilled holes in brick and stone for this item and wanted to get more use out of it.My shade had a slight defect.Update - Quictent customer service was attentive and responsive. They offered repair option and sent a replacement to make this right. I would buy again here as they truly did seem to care about finding a positive resolution. Thank you Quictent!

This product blocks the sun (UV) very well. We purchased this so our grandkids could be in the pool longer and not get sunburned. It did exactly that. On cooler days the adults complain that the water is too cool under the shade (LOL). The installation isn't easy, but is doable with a little planning. I purchased steel cables for installation instead of using the nylon lines that are included. I installed 12' 4x4 posts on 3 corners and attached the 4th corner to my pergola. I then used two ratcheting straps (first picture) to tighten the shade. It takes two people to tighten the shade with the straps. The shade gets weighed down after a rain (second picture). I rated it 4 stars due to the difficulty of installation.

Great product so far! Definitely does cool the patio significantly. Easy install after you dig and place the poles it attaches to. Considering adding a 2nd.

Updated from 3star to 5star: We reached out to the company for some help and helpful they were (Thanks Summer from customer support)! They replaced our damaged product quickly and had great customer service!We were really excited to get this sun shade up! The previous one we had bought we were very disappointed in it because it was the wrong dimensions than listed and then it stretched a TON making it not fit the area we needed it for. So when we pulled this one out of the box, the quality seemed much better than the previous one we had. We got it up and it fit really well. We’ve had it up for two days and I walked out and noticed that one of the side/middle hooks has already broken off. We are very worried that because that one broke it’s only a matter of time before the others break. Each one has 33% weight bearing and now that side, each hole has 50% of the weight. We’ve had two summer storms right after getting it up and it seemed to hold up well, it sags but it has popped right back into place once dry. I hope it continues to hold up.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This has been up less than a week. The day following install I noticed the edge had ripped where the tag happened to be stitched into the fabric. This rip has progressively gotten worse to the point where now it is a full on tear. Today I noticed a series of holes in the fabric as well. This does not seem to be well made, and it certainly doesn’t appear to be made to last.
