These sink stoppers and garbage disposal stoppers are great quality. I’ve tried seversl sink stoppers and couldn’t find one to fit my snk. This one fit perfectly and does not let water pass through. The seal is so tight it might be diffyfor an elderly person to maneuver. My 81 year old mother had difficulty removing the stopper from the sink. I would give this stopper a 10 out of 10. Great quality and well made.

I loved the clean and stylish look of these when I received them, but was skeptical that they'd work because other reviewers had mentioned they do not hold the water in. Upon receipt, I plugged one firmly into my drain and filled my sink to the top with water. I left items to soak overnight and when I returned the next morning, all of the water was completely drained from the sink. The item seemed to be a complete failure. My plan was to throw them out but since I had no other stopper to use, luckily I decided to use it one more time first, in order to soak a few more items. To my great surprise, this stopper worked flawlessly on the second try. When I returned to my sink, I expected to see all the water gone as with the first attempt, but this time my sink was just as full of water as I had left it. Since I inserted this drain plug in the exact same manner both times, I believe that the rubber ring softened up during the second use allowing it to form a better seal the second time around. Now that the rubber ring is a bit softer, I have had no problem with leakage, and all the water I put in my sink stays there until I remove the plug. Also, the design is such that it makes the plug easy to grasp, even underwater, which is helpful in removing the plug when the pressure of the water in the sink wants to keep it in place. I am so glad I didn't just throw these out after the first failure as I initially planned. It functions perfectly now. I recommend these and would advise to give the rubber ring, which is stiff and inflexible out of the package, a bit of time in the water to soften up. After that, they become more pliable and conform better to the drain opening. I have had no problems with this product beyond the first use. This stopper now holds a giant sink full of water for days without even the slightest leakage.

Not sure I am using it correctly. I see most of the pictures seem to indicate that the know side should be up, but if I put it on that way, the dishes knock it out of alignment. I use it knob side down and it works like a charm, no issues getting into or out of the place. Maybe I'm just looking at the pictures wrong and the way I am using it is the correct way, LOL. Anyway, it works for me in my situation and I am grateful to not have water seeping out of the sink :)

I've had these for almost a year now, I think. At first, when I got them, I thought that they did not fit the drain right, because instead of plugging into the drain, they kind of sit on the rim of it. It seemed that they should be going in deeper. It did not look like they would make a proper seal to keep the water from draining away. A couple of times they did move a bit when I first used them and didn't hold the water. However, I found that with applying a bit of pressure to them as the sink starts to fill they do indeed make a decent seal and will keep the sink at the level I fill it to all day, or even a few days (yeah yeah, sometimes I don't get to my dishes, single guy and all that). The previous sink stoppers I had were almost identical in looks, except they were all plastic, and were just a tiny hair smaller, which made them go deeper into the drain. I like these ones better in that they are stainless steel, except around the rim which is something like hard rubber, so they stay clean and don't discolor. The plastic ones started looking nasty after a couple of years which is why I replaced them. I expect that if the rubbery edges hold up these will stay cleaner and looking pretty new for years.

These are very well made. The problem for us is that I ordered them to use in the sink side of our double kitchen sink rather than on the disposal side as we were having trouble finding a replacement plug for our sink. They fit perfectly on the disposal side, but we cannot place them in the sink side. We measured the opening before ordering, and it appeared that these would work. The rubber on the plugs is so firm that we cannot push them into place on the sink side making them useless for us. The rubber flange has no give to it. I would best describe these as a kitchen disposal stopper. We kept them because we had opened the packaging. Now I have three disposal covers to last a lifetime.

Measurements accurate and fits my sink drain perfectly. Looks great, feels durable and I’m a happy camper.
