why is this one so much more the the none negative one ?

The positive display version is the most popular because of the availability, price and versatile color, it has the highest production amount. The negative display there have been far less of them produced.

I got the watch and the model number is 3495 (on the back). the product picture on amazon says 3159. did i get the wrong watch?

If you paid for a 3159, and were EXTREMELY LUCKY to receive the U( updated module, 3495) which has several more features, than id be happy, doing a dance! You got the updated version- that’s a GOOD thing!!

Is there a button for the backlight or is auto the only option to light it up?

Yes, the upper right button turns on the light. I ended up disabling the automatic light function to save battery power.

Definitivamente lo recomiendo. Me encantó. Este reloj lo compré para no batallar con los cambios de baterías y aparte tiene una función automática(LT) para que la luz se encienda automáticamente en cuanto giras la muñeca hacia tu cara. Puedes ajustar la duración de la luz para que dure uno o tres segundos encendida. Es un modelo discreto, ligero, resistente y funcional. Definitivamente es el que usaré de batalla. Viene muy bien empacado y me llegó en un par de días.
