Q: Does this charger charge lithium batteries?

Not 100% sure but lithium-ion AAA batteries are 3.7 volts and this charger is designed to charge ni-cad AAA batteries which are 1.5 volts so I don't think it would do the job. DO NOT use 3.7 volt lithium-ion AAA batteries in your 1.5 volt battery appliances. It will destroy them!
