Lucky Eight Yunnan Pu Erh Natural Black Tea - 100 Individually Wrapped Tea Bags - 7.0 Oz

It is one box of interesting tea. I thought it said 2 boxes of 100 bags but it is just one box. I enjoy many black teas and green teas. This was my first cup of an Asian black tea. All previous black tea before this was mostly orange and black pekoe cut tea (Lipton, Red Rose, the "normal tea"). My sister said it reminded her of twigs and leaves with a hint of smokiness. I thought it reminded me a bit like a ginger tea. It didn't taste like a cheap or poor tea to me but not an incredibly high quality either. I don't know if I will buy it again because I didn't LOVE the flavor but it was not bad at all.

I had heard of this tea from watching Dr. Oz. Picked up a recent Woman's World magazine and they had a recipe for an iced tea with Pu Erh, White Tea, ginger, and lemon juice. The combination tastes great. I drink coffee black and found I had no need for sweeteners in this tea combo. I am on day 2 of drinking this and found it does suppress appetite and gives me as good, if not better, revving than coffee. So far, I'm happy with this tea. I haven't tried drinking it by itself, though.

I bought this tea from viewing Dr. OZ and he recommended drinking it for help burning belly fat. I'm not so sure how that is working for the fat burning being as I just started it, but so far one thing I can say is it has been surpressing my appetite when I drink it. The taste is smooth for me, but the smell isnt the best. Overall it works for me!

This tea is very healthy for you and helped me with my diet ,The taste in the other hand is like fish so I added some lemon to it and bit of sugar ,But still drink it cause gives me energy

This tea has a dark, smoky flavor. I really feel full in drinking the tea and I have noticed some diet benefits to drinking the tea. It does smell somewhat like pond water so try not to breathe in the aroma too much.

It really smells MUSTY and it should NOT!Not recommended.Purchase elsewhere!!Amazon insists on twenty words... what can I say? This is NOT an acceptable product. Please google puerh and learn about the process. If it smells bad, then something has gone wrong. Because Puerh is made with microbes (yes BACTERIA is encourage to grow on it)... we have to be very, very careful it is managed properly at the factory or it is a health risk.Read a bit more on some tea factories and you may give up tea altogether. hhaha.Buyer beware on this one.

The tea I ordered came within just a few days, and the Lucky Eight Yunnan Pu Erh was totally comparable to the Numi Pu Erh I had been buying, but which was more expensive and harder to find.

Good product! I drink it on cold nights gives me a warm fuzzy refreshing taste. I'd buy it again but I still have 1/2 of the box of tea bags left.
