UPDATE: After my 2 week trip traveling through Italy with carry-on only, my updated review is still a 5 star review but here's some feedback after using for an extended trip over the pond. PROS: *Comfortable to carry with padded back and shoulder straps. *40L is a great size but is on the larger side. Wish this exact bag (color wise: Grey Green-black) came in smaller 30L. *Lots of pockets for great organization *Comes with 3 additional bags to organize your belongings that you can't place in pockets. The 8x10" worked great for travel essentials. *Attaches to luggage with handy strap on back. Made it easy to pull my luggage through airports and hotels. *Main compartment opens at an 180 degree angle which makes packing SO easy! *The fabric seems really durable. Not a smudge on the backpack and traveled on planes, trains and automobiles. Italy was wet and raining too! CONS: *If you plan to use this as a "personal carry on" piece, it is larger than most airline specs so if the bag is full, this backpack might get flagged. I got a lot of glances from airline staff but thankfully got it through. *I may have gotten it through but it does not fit under the seat unless 1/2 full. This was especially problematic when coming home and was loaded with souvenirs. It did not fit under my seat and BARELY fit overhead on an Airbus A330-300 (Air Canada) or AIRBUS A350-900 (Lufthansa). If the airline was completely full, I honestly don't think they would've let me bring my carry on luggage as well as this larger sized backpack. *the drink sleeve on the outside of the bag is small so I could not fit my light weight travel 24oz Owala water bottle when on the backpack is on the fuller size. Works well though when backpack is 1/2 full. Overall, this size worked amazingly for my 2 week trip to Europe but would think twice about bringing it again if I plan to doing carry on luggage and this as a personal carry on during high season. I'm fairly confident this would not be allowed when packed at full capacity, which is easy to do. I think this size would work beautifully for a long weekend. *************** I'm already in love with this bag. I’m heading on a two-week trip to Italy with carry-on luggage only, and I quickly realized my go-to tote wasn’t going to cut it. After searching high and low, this ended up being the best option for my needs. This 40L bag has tons of internal pockets to keep everything organized, and if that’s not enough, it also comes with a shoe bag and two accessory pouches; perfect for storing essentials during long-haul flights. The main compartment has plenty of room for a jacket, a few days worth of clothing, and a pair of shoes without feeling overly stuffed. I’ve used it once so far for a quick weekend trip, and my only complaint is that I wish the two larger compartments had double zippers. Currently, only the main one has that feature. The double zipper would allow for anti-theft clips to help slow down or prevent access to the outer pockets in crowded areas.. I don’t plan to store valuables there, but it would’ve been nice to have the option. Overall, this is a great bag for the price. The material feels very durable and well-made. One thing worth noting: I ordered both the blue/black and green/black versions to compare. I assumed both were the same but different color ways. However, the blue/black had more of a high-end canvas feel, while the green/black was more of a nylon material. Both were nice, but I ultimately preferred the green/black colorway and fabric.

This is a great backpack. It is large, but it has a lot of thoughtful features in it. The side where you can strap in a stainless tumbler and buckle it is, the two pouches (I used one for cords and the other for snacks!) and the 3rd pouch which seems could be great for a pair of shoes or really for anything. The buckles on the sides also allow you to collapse it to be thinner if it is not packed completely full. This came in handy as I carried it around at a conference but had taken a lot of stuff out of it and left in my hotel room. Great smooth zippers, with an easy access pocket in back where the straps are that I kept my phones and wallet in, so they seemed a bit "hidden". I got the dark purple color and interestingly got many compliments!

This is a great travel bag! It holds quite a lot and fits under the seat on the plane. I like all the pockets and the extra small zip bags that are included. One for shoes, another 2 for snacks or toiletries or whatever. It seems to be made of a good heavy duty waterproof or at the least a water resistant material. I did not get it wet to see. Straps are nice and padded. Would be nice if the side pocket for water bottle was a little larger in diameter but I was able to put my 20 oz bottle in it.

Took this on my trip to Japan and it worked wonderfully! Perfect size with lots of pockets to hold everything I needed. Clean, classy look.

Absolutely fantastic. I have ordered SO MANY different bags and returned them all trying to find the right one to travel 3 connecting international flights with a 5 month old ALONE - one 8 hours. This bag has been so comfortable to wear while also carrying baby in a baby carrier on my front or pushing the stroller. It has enough compartments that I had organised space for everything I needed (Diapers, wipes, spare baby clothes, passports in zip pocket on the side that has the straps. I cannot recommend this enough for travelling, it felt sturdy and zips are well made, it kept it's shape mostly when opening and has the convenience of opening up all the way like a suitcase. It would be perfect for someone travelling without a baby too as has space for a 17 inch laptop - will be utilising this on my next trip. Thank you from one happy customer.

Beautiful bag that my daughter will use for travel and theater. Very well made and looks like it will hold a ton and last awhile.

The color Green with Gold Zippers in this backpack is VERY nice and looked expensive than its actual price, but the Black Leopard is NOT , thus, Returned. This backpack is heavier and bigger than I wanted, but still meets Personal Bag measurements for Air Travel. Item received in new and good condition, wrapped well. No smell. Recommended the color Green, NOT the Black Leopard.

Great quality bag! Holds a LOT and was the perfect carry on. Love the strap on the back that goes around the handle of my suitcase so I can put it on the top of my suitcase when I don’t feel like carrying it on my back and don’t have to worry about it moving.
