Great nitrogen support! And helps green up those plants and grow lush leaves! It doesn’t stink but can attract mammals so just water it in really good! I blend mine up more so it can dissolve/ disperse more evenly and quickly because my garden beds are smaller abs I don’t want neighborhood kitties and dogs digging up plants. I’ve never had a problem with this method. It works great especially for beans and leafy greens you’re trying to grow and it’s natural so it’ll feed the microbes in the soil without adding toxic chemicals to soil and plants! I use a couple of tablespoons each of blood meal and bone meal along with half a cup of worm castings worked into the soil around each transplant. Success every time. I also used it to rescue one of my fellow gardeners habernero plants. This is my first time using blood meal so I can't honestly compare this brand to any other. What I can say is that I am really impressed with its performance.

I’ve been really impressed with this fertilizer. After using it on my vegetable plants, I noticed a significant boost in growth and overall plant health within a short period of time. My brassica vegetables looked greener, stronger, and than before. I also appreciate that it’s organic and easy to use. A little seems to go a long way. This along with bone meal is the best. It provides a source of nitrogen over extended period so plant get their nitro boost over a longer period

I use Blood Meal to keep squirrels out of a big Planter. Someone said this has a strong odor. When I opened the new bag it didn't seem to have any odor. They don't like the stuff on their feet, don't know if this will work. I put it down and will come back after I see how it works to update. It is not what I expected, blood meal is usually powder, this is big granules. UPDATE; This stuff works better than the powder for keeping squirrels from digging holes. With the powder you have to put more down every time it rains, these bigger granules don't dissolve as fast. After over 2 months I have only added new Blood Meal once and the squirrels won't go in the dirt. They hop up on the side, maybe jump in for a second but hop right out. They hate this stuff, it's great! They were digging it up like crazy before I used this blood meal, they have not dug one hole in there since I started using this. Amazing! At 5 months I haven't added any more blood meal yet. Once in awhile a squirrel scratches the dirt for a few seconds and leaves, not to come back for a good while. Wish I found this product years ago. It's the cure for rabbits and squirrels.
