After learning microplastics in plastic plates are harmful for humans, I made the switch to these for my son. He loves the cute design and I like how there are deep compartments to separate sides like soups or pasta. If your kid doesn’t like foods touching, this is a great plate for them. It does great in the dishwasher, have ran it through for several months.

Ordered these to replace the plastic containers my kids use for lunch. I’m not a fan of the potential for plastic to leach into food items and the plastic boxes wear so quickly! Pros: They’re cute and durable! In 2 weeks of owning them they’ve already been dropped, stepped on, ran through the dishwasher, and they are holding up very well. Food isn’t touching MUCH plastic unless it’s in contact with the lid. Speaking of the lid.. Although not a perfect seal, the lid remains on nicely when shaken or turned upside down. This also helps prevent food from moving around into the different compartments, although I’ve had some cheese slices creep through the top gap a bit. They wash very easily in both the dishwasher or when handwashing. Cons: The lid is plastic and flimsy. I wouldn’t run this through the dishwasher and if it gets bent it would be unusable. Portion sizes are small so I wouldn’t recommend for an adult or even older children. I have to cut sandwiches very small, and my 16 year old requires more food in her lunch than this comfortable will allow. If this has a silicone or stainless lid I’d give it 5/5 stars. I’m sure the cute face designs will wear off with long term use, but no fading yet. I’ll update if I experience any issues.

These plates are amazing. They are lightweight yet extremely adorable. They are dishwasher safe and I love that. They’re extremely sturdy. You’re able to have multiple divisions to be able to give different type of food to your baby. I love that you get four on the set. And the best part is that they are extremely affordable. If you have a classroom or babysit, it’s a perfect way for you to have Dinner with multiple kids. Definitely a lot more affordable than anything to get at Walmart.

Since long before my son, or BPA/plastic concerns, I did not like using plastic. I felt like it changed the taste of my food, and as someone who likes food and cooking, I don't want my food tasting different. And then after learning about BPA and questioning what else might be in plastic, I try to avoid it as much as possible. But with a toddler there aren't too many options so I was happy when I found these. I have purchased some other stainless pieces for food storage and they were very thin, but these are not. The stainless plates and plastic covers are a good quality, I am not worried about them easily denting or breaking, and while I will not likely use the covers often I appreciate having them just in case the plate of food needs a cover.

A little too big for my 2 year old. It is thick material. My kids refuse to use it

The quality of the stainless steel on these plates is excellent. It's a very thick, high grade material. There is no bend or flexibility to it at all. The lids are super convenient for storing a meal for later. Also, the lids are not cheap or flimsy. They're sturdy enough to last a long time. These plates, although meant for children, are really big enough for an adult to use for a small meal. The compartments are deep, and will hold a decent amount of food. Just for size reference purposes, the larger section would hold a fully loaded hotdog on a large bun. The face picture at the bottom of the tray encourages young children to finish their meals so that they can be rewarded with the smiling face on the bottom. There is a stamp on top of the tray that indicates it's a very high grade of stainless steel.
