A great replacement for my previous UPS
This UPS works well, and is a good upgrade to my previous UPS device (which strangely never started again after carefully I changed out the then-current battery for the brand-new replacement, no matter how closely I followed the manufacturer's advice). This CyberPower unit has a couple more power sockets then the deceased APC unit, and has a surge suppressor for Ethernet cable, which is more important to me than the 'phone wiring surge suppressor in the old unit. There's also a USB port (and included cable) that lets me connect the UPS to a USB connector on my main computer, and without installing any software a control panel lets me adjust the parameters for computer and/or display sleep under mains power vs. battery power. The front-panel screen is easy to use, although I haven't bothered to make changes to the more advanced features yet. Apparently I'm drawing so little power from it (although I have at least 18 devices powered by it) that the display shows a power draw of zero watts / zero load and a runtime on battery of 450 minutes. Clearly that can't be completely accurate, but it's good to know that I've got a reasonable uptime figure on the battery-backed outputs. I chose this model partly because the taller/slimmer form factor is a good fit for where I placed it (where its predecessor was), on the inner floor of a desk cabinet with floor-to-desk height. There's enough airflow (I added a fan long ago), even with the door to the cabinet mostly closed. I tend to leave the equipment it's connected to turned on, and most of it goes into low-power mode after a period of inactivity. Although the UPS's display is set to dim after a while, the UPS isn't really going into sleep mode, which I gather would starve some of my active gear of power and cause abrupt shut-downs for the computing devices, so I'm leaving it that way. I haven't needed to contact the company's tech support folks, and I hope I never need to. I hope that this unit lasts a good long while, and won't expire when the battery needs to be changed. I have an older/smaller CyberPower unit, for which the recent battery change went flawlessly. So far so good, and I hope it stays good.

Performed above and beyond expectations!
I purchased this UPS to provide consistent power for the Wi-Fi system at our lake house. The power is notoriously shaky there with many blink outs and short outages, just long enough to make my router refuse to sync back up. So I purchased this UPS and charged it up as directed by instructions at my home. Then I plugged in 2 home routers, trying to simulate what would be plugged in at the lake house. I was expecting maybe 2 hours of operation before power depletion. Was I wrong. But in a good way! When I unplugged the UPS, simulating an outage, the readout indicated 425 min of back-up power with power draw of my 2 routers....Far better than I expected. I ran a test and the UPS kept my Wi-Fi running for over 8 hours....and I was streaming! At the lake house, WIFI will only be for thermostat and security camera monitoring, so will probably last longer. Very impressed!! This UPS should save a bunch of Wi-Fi getting kicked off-line due to power outage situations. These are very annoying when hundreds of miles away and the only way to reset my router is to manually hit the reset button. So far, I love it!!!

A powerful battery backup for your gaming system
I've had this for a few years now and it's been running non-stop with no problems. It definitely helps when I'm working or gaming to prevent any damage or equipment shutting off during power interruptions. I have the powering my PC and one of my monitors without any issues. I bought this to replace an older APC unit that had an annoying alarm that I couldn't shut off due to my system drawing too much power. Because of this hardware issue with the APC I went with cyberpower and I really like the features of this one better. The older unit went to my internet hardware to prevent any loss of connection. I recommend getting less powerful battery backup for your internet hardware as well but this one might be a little bit overkill for that stuff alone.
