Beautiful Accent Lighting for Open Shelving — Completely Changed the Atmosphere
I used the MCGOR Under Cabinet Lighting a little differently than intended by installing them on the exposed shelving unit that separates my kitchen and living room. They added the perfect amount of soft accent lighting and completely changed the atmosphere of the space in the evenings. The lighting is bright enough to highlight my décor without feeling harsh or overpowering, and I love that they’re dimmable so I can create a warmer mood once the sun goes down. The motion sensor works great and activates quickly when I walk by, which adds a really nice modern touch. Installation was also incredibly easy thanks to the magnetic mounting system. Since they’re rechargeable and have such a slim design, I didn’t have to worry about visible cords or bulky hardware taking away from the overall look of the shelving. Even though these are marketed for under cabinets, they work beautifully for decorative shelving, display areas, or anywhere you want subtle lighting without a complicated setup. They’re functional, versatile, and honestly look surprisingly elegant once installed. I’m really happy with how this project turned out.

Buy it! Love these lights!
I JUST got these, charged them to full battery (took about an hour) and set them up in my kitchen and pantry and I absolutely LOVE them! It comes with extra magnets, charging cables, and super easy to set up! The motion sensor is amazing, lights up perfectly on time! I got the 10”, perfect size for what I need! I appreciate that the light has different brightness settings, great buy for the price!
