Dear customers, I have done deep research looking for the best acoustic isolation cost benefits. I noticed many complains about this cheap product regarding to deformation after unboxing. I would like to share my experience with you. I decided to buy this product which was the cheapest I could find and take my on risk. When I received the product from Amazon, I unboxed the packaged and release the acoustic foams from the vacuum bag I got disappointment after 48 hours when I saw more than 90% of the foams with different level on deformation on the borders. Luckly there is a one-page instruction saying to use the dryer machine to expand the foam and get them in a perfect shape. Following the instruction, I could recover 70% of the foams just putting the foams in the dryer machine medium level for 5 minutes. I realized that some foams could not be recovered 100% and I put the remaining foams deformed into the dryer machine medium level for 5 minutes more and repeated the process for couple more time. In the end I could get 90% of de foams perfectly expanded total 48 of 56 foams. The remaining 8 foams I would say that they are in a good shape not perfect even being slight deformed. Well, that is my experience, and I hope that I could have help someone to take the decision on buying this kind of Acoustic Foam

Almost half the panels had defects (26). I didn't return them because I live in Colombia in South America and don't even k ow how to do that from here.

The product comes vacuum-packed and completely compressed. After almost 24 hours, it looks like this and some panels haven't fully expanded, although I didn't wait for the time specified in the instructions. One panel didn't expand at all, so I used my steam iron to see if it would work, and it worked better than I expected.
